Is this Tom Hanks first Razzie nomination?
Oops! Topic is Elvis! Let’s see…..I remember where I was the day he died: playing Barbies with my friend in her room. Her older sister burst in screaming and crying over Elvis dying. We had to go play Barbies someplace else. That’s literally all I’ve got when it comes to him

Oh it wasn’t even for Elvis, it was for Pinnochio. I’m still not sure I loved him in Elvis. Pinnochio looked like a truly awful movie.
Elvis did get lots of love in the Oscar nominations. I’ll have to watch it again. Loved that movie.

It was for both. Worst actor in Pinocchio and Worst Supporting Actor in Elvis. Tough year, lol.
May be an unpopular opinion, but I didn't care for the Elvis biopic. It ran way too long and in the 2nd half I found myself constantly checking the clock. It started to lose my interest around the time of the prolonged scenes covering his comeback/Christmas special, and then never recovered. I think Austin Butler gave a strong performance---it just wasn't that interesting to me as a movie, I think because of so much focus on the Col. Parker character. When it was over I almost thought the title should have been "The Colonel" instead of "Elvis."

I didn’t realize it was both. Thanks.
And I do agree that there was too much focus on Hanks’s character. I was annoyed whenever he was on screen. I didn’t enjoy his performance and my friends, who I saw it with, shot me down. So I’m glad to see the Razzies agree with me at least! And I say that as a big Tom Hanks fan.

I have a feeling the Tom Hanks thought his double razzies were hilarious!
The guy has Oscar nominations up the butt, and two best Oscars in a row.

Apparently, Riley Keough had a "secret baby" that her husband mentioned when reading a letter from Riley at the memorial service. Pics look like the baby girl is a couple months old (I'm guessing).

A letter from her? As in Riley didn’t attend her mum’s memorial service?

I think a movie about the Colonel would be really interesting!
I have faint memories of Elvis dying. Do you all remember when the USPS had people vote on the Young Elvis stamp or the Old Elvis stamp? Like anyone was going to vote for Old Elvis. Although now that I am almost 10 years older than Old Elvis, I may have to rethink that nickname.

A letter from her? As in Riley didn’t attend her mum’s memorial service? She was there. I assume it was too difficult for her to speak.
