Also, Marky Mark,why couldn't you wake up and realize that maybe you need some humility instead of the privilege of being a leader? There aren't only leaders and followers. There are observers and thinkers too. That maybe you need to be quiet and learn from other people rather than expecting things like your past sins to be expunged. Maybe carrying your record around and not being a special exception is exactly what you need to learn?
I have no tolerance for his alpha-male, I-go-to-church-for-an-hour everyday BS.

Some on another message board are calling BS on parts of the Daily Mail story. For example, it seems too convenient that... - the media (especially in the age of TMZ!) hasn't managed to track down the victim until now
- no one has refuted the blinding story until now. (Even Mark Wahlberg believed that he had blinded the guy!)
- the victim never realized (until now) that his attacker "grew up" to be a Hollywood star.
Some think that Mark may have slid some money under the table before this story broke. |

Yeah, I hate to be cynical (no I don't) but the story rings false to me too. And really, even if it's true, it shouldn't influence what should be an open and shut case.

And also, this gentleman was not the only person he attacked at that time. He threw rocks at black kids and attacked another man with a 2x5 while calling said victim a racial slur. He hurled slurs at the kids he threw rocks at. Basically he was using racial slurs and demonstrating the violence associated with said slurs. his whiteness has allowed him to escape Dorchester and become a wealthy celebrity. If there's any justice in the world, he won't be allowed to shake off the last vestiges of his thuggish past. Entitled, LITTLE (he's like 5'7", right?) prick.

He just wants a liquor license. I also don't believe that he wasn't responsible for blinding the guy.... I always thought he had really scary eyes, like something is about to go off inside of him. Btw, that guy totally deserves the money. I hope he is set for life now. |

He seems like he'd be wretched in bed, what with his Madonna/Whore complex (pure speculation here). I'm enjoying making fun of him. Is this how others feel in the Kardasian thread? Because now I. Get. It. The Kardashians haven't blinded anyone though(yet).

They dated/had a fling in the '90s. So he must have been into her at some point (even if he didn't like her gangster/Dresden cabaret era). He appeared in her Sex book, didn't he? I think they also got in a bar fight at one point (didn't she whoop him?), so it didn't end well. ETA: Apparently her people punched him in the face after he threw some homophobic slurs around. Yeah, that sounds about right. Also, from from an article I found on the incident I was trying to remember: Oh, okay. Over-dramatic hostess, you have no idea what's coming. And it also had an impact on a PSA with GLAAD: People link from a '93 article, hah! |
