So I gave Titanic a rewatch that ship sinking bit is riveting and edge of seat stuff no matter how many times I watch, but in all them rewatches it was only now I noticed the tinkly piano tune playing as Jack is drawing Rose is a piano tinkly My heart will go on and its lovely.
I think both movie and song have aged well or maybe its because its been a while and neither have been overplayed in the last 15 of its 20yrs! Eek!
Also interesting àside Adele just cancelled concerts due to vocal damage, who/however Celine has cared for her vocals she should give lessons! I want my Adele & Celine duet.

I'm a little late with this, but I just wanted to bump her thread because of the new song she's doing for Deadpool 2. I really hope this gets nominated for Best Song at the Oscars to either see a recreation of the video, or to see if Ryan Reynolds and Dion cook up something new. I love that this is already so big for her too. I know she's not exactly in need of a big comeback, but I know that her last few albums haven't matched the success of what her earlier work has, although to be fair that would be very difficult to achieve with every album. She just seems so incredibly nice and good natured, and I love that she's taken such great care of her voice.

Love it! Celine, I think never takes herself too seriously and as said she has taken very good care of her voice too, agree she doesn't need a big comeback but its nice to see her back and having fun it seems with it too. Good for her.

That video is awesome, and I love that it’s a completely irony-free typical action movie power ballad.
Celine was in the most recent Muppet movie doing a duet with Miss Piggy, so clearly she has a sense of humor.

OMG I love that video so much! The song alone is your typical Celine power ballad, and the video has that 90s adult contemporary aesthetic you'd expect (dramatic setting, billowing dress, wind machine, string quartet, Celine being Celine) but the addition of dancing Deadpool (in heels!) is just perfect. All the sacrifices to Xenu will be made if this gets a Best Song nomination at next year's Oscars. "Listen...this thing (points to her throat) only goes to 11, so beat it Spider-Man!"

Celine's husband was ill most of their marriage. That must not have been easy. It is nice to see her loosen up a bit and start doing these unexpected things with her career.

Brilliant marketing. I love that Celine is such a damn good sport and does not take herself seriously.

I was never a fan of Celine's music but the way she has handled herself with such quiet dignity and resilience following her husband's death it is a joy to see her blossom.
