What an asshole! I'm glad his movie tanked. I hope they all tank from now on. I use to like this guy and that's over.

I think this guy has crossed the line between "tempermental artist" and "mentally disturbed." I forget the name of his wife (isn't she a minor musical artist?) but I would not want to be alone in a house with him. I hope she's thinking very, very seriously about whether it's safe to be around him.

The official statement from his people, as posted on the Drudge Report website-
You know, at first I was like, "What a jerk." But now, this statement clears up everything. He had to make a phone call to his family, and they gave him attitude! Completely understandable. I would definitely assault someone if I couldn't place a phone call.
What an ass.

The man needs anger management training, stat! I don't care if he is the Olivier of our generation, his attitude is in serious need of adjustment. If a doctor who invented a radical new surgery that saved lives acted like this, he would be slammed. If a major political figure acted like this, he would not be reelected. Why do we forgive people like RC just 'cause he can act?

Was the office dude's name Sven by any chance? Hee hee. Somewhere Craig Bierko is ROTLF. Seriously, when I was in New York all of the front desk people acted all snooty and better than thou, but I thought it was because I was not a celebrity. So it gives me a little bit of comfort to know that the snooty New York attitude is non-discriminatory. Uh, except if Russell had been acting like a dick the whole time, then Sven probably took the bull by the horns and said, 'I'm in charge!"

Russell's lawyer is trying to stick up for him and say what a good and charitable person Russell is. The best he could come up with is "He's never been arrested in this country before."

I try to separate the art and the artist because if I didn't there would be very few entertainers I could actually enjoy, but this guy is beyond contempt.

"He's never been arrested in this country before."
That's supposed to help?

From Page Six:
Asshole.
Rusty should hook up with Naomi Campbell. They have so much in common.

What an assaholic. Very talented though, that is why Hollywood puts up with him.
I keep thinking about that South Park episode where they have Crowe doing a children's show called "Fight`n Round The World". ROFL ANybody see that?
A friend of mine bartended at a bar in Princeton, where they filmed "Beautiful Mind". She said he and the cast and crew would come in a lot. She said he was a major jerk. Very condesending, arrogant to her and a no tipper too.
Hopefully they will do what they did to like Shaun Penn, another talented actor with a huge attitue problem, and they will give him the chill until he straitens out.
