I never got the Brad copies his girlfriends' hairstyle thing. He had the platinum do for that Tibet movie and Gwyneth is the one who decided to copy him months later. With Jennifer, he was the natural blonde and she went blonder once she started dating him. With Angelina, he dyed his hair for the Jesse James movie. When not working, his hair and style has been pretty consistent for the past decade or so.

I don't think Brad Pitt copies his girlfriends all that much at all. He has changed his hairstyle a lot throughout his career, they just chose the pics where it happened to look somewhat like the person he was with.

Take the pic with Angelina for example, they chose to show the time he had his hair colored dark for Jesse James, yet throughout their relationship he's had many different hairstyles(mostly blondish). He had it bleached for a while, he had a buzz cut, he had it grow out, he had it slicked...etc.

I know. He's like Johnny Depp in this way. With both of them, I'll see a picture and think "Dear god, what are they thinking?" only to find out later that the weird/different hair is for a role.

Some interesting if not totally new info on the family. Brad's learning French!

Pitt and his partner, Angelina Jolie, and their four children are followed everywhere by paparazzi and, while he gives the impression he wouldn't care so much were he the only one affected, he is understandably defensive at "the real assault" on sons Maddox, 6, and Pax, 3, and daughters Zahara, or "Zee", 2, and Shiloh, 1.

"It's out of hand and crosses all lines of decency," Pitt, 43, says. "Quite frankly I have a real problem with it. I think there should be laws against it.

"The kids didn't ask for this and it's frightening. They get right in the kids' faces with video cameras and yell their names.

"They don't know why people are yelling their names and have this idea that any time they step outside the door there's people following them with cameras.

"I mean, it's a strange view of the world."

Pitt describes his family as "nomadic" but believes that lifestyle works in the children's favour. "The value in it is the family itself becomes the core and the places the kids get to see they may not understand now, but I know it's seeping into their consciousness.

"We move quite well. I don't see that taking its toll. The thing we have to think about is schooling and we're in an international program, so wherever we go it's the same curriculum.

"Our oldest has started at an elementary school that's bilingual, so Ange and I are starting French. I wish there had been more focus on it when I was in school."

Despite the travel and the fact that Pitt and Jolie, 32, two of the biggest movie stars in the world, are involved in various humanitarian programs, Pitt still describes them as "normal", adding that Jolie is "my love, my partner and everything comes from this nucleus".

"We're a mother and a father and the kids get unruly, but they're fantastic and say the funniest things I've ever heard," he says.

"The most important thing for us is to make sure we carve out our time for them because it's our responsibility to show them around and help shape them.

"We have to carve out time for ourselves, too, but if something's got to go it's usually that time. It's family first, then we slip into work."

Please god, don't hate me but the first thing I think of when people say they need to carve out time for their kids is maybe they "shouldn't" have kids.

I could understand Brad's concerns about his kids' privacy if they weren't allowing People to do photo spreads and talking about them in every single interview. It strikes me as extremely hypocritical and IMO only creates more public demand for photos and info. They can't have it both ways.
