Picking up your new girlfriend, who is young enough to be your daughter, when you visited your friend, who is her husband and also old enough to be her father, is something... With the way Hollywood is, I’m honestly surprised she’s not younger. I also think she looks extremely similar to a young Angelina. That was the first thing I thought when I saw her.

I’ve read in the past few days about Brad and Kylie Jenner being in France. I’m not even ready to fly yet still annoyed that they can freely travel to France when my passport means shit.

Based on the photos from November, I think Brad has been with this girl since then and used his friendship with Alia as cover.

I've always thought one of the more interesting things about Brad was that none of his girlfriends really looked that similar. He didn't seem to have a narrow specific type. But this model definitely looks a lot like Angelina. Kinda makes me wonder if he's actually over her.

Same! That’s the main thing I’ve noticed about all of his past relationships. He doesn’t really have a “type.”He also seemed to absorb a lot of the other person’s style/traits. I think he is definitely working through some issues here (plus the whole aging actor and twenty something model that is apparently a requirement on hollywood).

He definitely has been seeing her all this time! There was no part of me that ever thought either Alia or Brad was remotely attracted to one another.

AJ is saying Brad abused her in the marriage and that she has proof. Apparently some of the children are willing to testify.


I...don't know. She had no problem accusing him of child abuse back in 2016 so why wasn't this brought up the. as well? I feel awful thinking that, but I'm confused. Any insights?

Also, they've been divorcing for FIVE YEARS?! JC.

I think I would be more surprised if someone who abused children didn't also abuse their spouse although of course the abuse could take different forms and certainly I have heard of instances where one child is a particular target. It's hard for me to imagine someone thinking "when I get drunk I hit my kids, sure, but my WIFE--well, gotta draw a line somewhere," you know? (Although: who knows. I am no expert and maybe that's a very common way to think.) Also my memory is that when the child abuse stuff first came out, the general reaction was not universally on Angelina's side and Brad's Oscar tour was very, very good PR for him so I can see why she wouldn't bring it up in those circumstances.

Yeah, I don't have any problems believing that Brad could have abused Angie. Especially since he was a drunk and already had the child abuse accusations. I just thought it seemed odd not to bring it up at the same time—especially if you have proof—and getting the divorce over with quickly instead of letting this drag on for so long and then using it. Maybe if she was trying to not ruin the kids relationship with Brad and maintain some privacy, but you'd figure since she already has them involved with the child abuse there's really no privacy/relationship left to protect?

Edit: I guess shame might play a part. Maybe she just wanted people to think it was a one time incident on the plane instead of admitting they had a volatile troubled relationship where she was humiliated and mistreated for a length of time.

I can believe he abused her as well as the kids. I have always thought Angelina did the right thing to divorce Brad and keep advocating on behalf of the children to make sure they were protected. It's admirable, actually.

BUT. Is Brad really such a hopeless case? It seems that in the past 5 years, he got sober, he got into intensive therapy, he went through years of supervised visits with his children. Things should be heading in a healing direction, and yet, his relationships with his children only seem to be getting worse. There's something wrong there.

What is Angelina's goal here? To end Brad's relationship with his children permanently and keep him away from them forever? Because that's kind of what it seems like at this point. I don't know if that's a worthy goal, even if he was abusive. And having the kids testify against him is a terrible thing to do to those kids unless it's absolutely necessary.

Angelina has parted ways with lawyer after lawyer after lawyer, and I think that's because they don't support what she's doing.

This is still going on!! Wow- it feels like they separated 10 years ago. AJ has gone through lawyers, attempted to get judges removed, been reprimanded for not providing the children to BP. It's all gone so rotten. It's sad when there are so many kids involved and it gets so bitter and drawn out.

If he was abusive to her- and the kids- I would understand her fighting tooth and nail, but I don't understand how this is helpful.
