I really don't agree with Angie's desire to have the kids testify against their father. It seems the court had copious amounts of testimony about how the kids felt, and that would be something the kids would remember, probably with guilt, for the rest of their lives. I have a really hard time siding with Angelina when she would do that to the kids for the sake of winning.
I've never been in a domestic violence situation, so I can only sympathize. The older kids seem like they will never forgive Brad and that's their choice. But even though I do think Brad did bad stuff to Angelina and the kids, I don't think it necessarily follows that he should never have a relationship with any of his children ever again.
After 5 years of rehab, intensive family therapy and an incredibly long period of supervised visits, this seems like the right decision by the court.

All signs point to yes, you are correct Ladybug : On Monday, Jolie, 45, filed a complaint to California's Second District Court of Appeal over Ouderkirk's ruling and continuing purview over the case. Jolie previously failed to have the judge, who is also overseeing their divorce dispute, removed last November. A source close to Jolie says "joint custody is not the issue that Angelina objects to, there were other issues of concern, but the court proceedings are closed and sealed." *Sigh* |

The twins are 13 so this only needs to drag out 5 more years and then it won’t matter.

When Brad and Angelina got together, I thought Brad would be in for a lot of drama and a painful breakup, and that he would eventually look back at the "boring" life he had with Jennifer with a lot more appreciation than when he left it. All of that happened to some degree. They stayed together much longer than I expected, actually. I would not have predicted Brad's bad behavior with the kids, that was pretty shocking. I was thinking Angelina would get bored and flit off to someone else. |

I thought she’d leave him for someone more interesting. Never expected he was a belligerent drunk who abused his family. I don’t cut him any slack for that, but it does seem like he’s worked on himself.
I did think the constant travel and nomadic lifestyle would put excessive stress on the family on top of the stress of celebrity and living your life in a fishbowl.
