I think she is beautiful (especially when she was in Belle Epoque), but for some reason I always thought Penelope looked like an ostrich.

Wow, I think she's quite striking (she also reminds me a lot of my mom--say's the fair skinned, blond haired, blue eyed girl she produced with my Nordic dad). I love her smoldering looks.
She may not be 'traditionally pretty' (not sure what that means) but man, she rocks the sexy look quite well.
Maybe that's how I would describe her... sexy.
I don't quite understand her husband as well... to each their own. His head is just too big for me.

I thought she was kind of weird-looking until I saw Volver, where she was just stunning. I think Penelope's a pretty classic case of looking better in motion than in still pictures.
