I thought Roswell being cheesy crap ruined Roswell. She was one of the only things I liked about it.

I think that she and both Jason Behr ruined Roswell. They were supposed to be brother and sister, but they let the fact that they were dating IRL bleed over on to the screen. They acted incestuous.

What's hysterical about her Izzie quote is that a few months ago she gave an interview where she said she thought Izzie proclaiming her love for George made sense and her goal was to get people to love Gizzie. Now she hates it? She needs to make up her mind. I don't blame her for not liking the direction Izzie is going in. Izzie is hands down the most selfish, judgmental, hypocritical character on the show. With that said, she could express her dislike the character direction of Izzie without biting the hand that feeds her.
As bad as the GA quote is, her Knocked Up comments are even worse and it will be interesting to see how she digs herself out of that hole. At least with the GA quote she can brush it off as being frustrated with the character. Kinda hard to do that with her Knocked Up role. She knew what the movie was like she signed on and she did it anyway. I know many here probably do things at their job they have issues with. But KH was in no way obligated to do Knocked Up. She had a paycheck from GA and was certainly paid enough to survive 3 months without working. The rest of us don't have that luxury. Also, I disagree with her assessment of the men in the movie. The men were portrayed as porn crazed, jobless, druggie losers. So neither sex came out looking that great.
Honestly, she needs to take the advice she once gave Isaiah Washington- stop talking in public.

Scripts aren't necessarily the same as the finished products, so I don't think KH knew exactly what she was getting into. Maybe she saw depths in her character that were ultimately cut from the final cut?
Anyways, I agree with her analysis of the film. I liked KU, but it is hard to love it for the flaws she mentions. I don't see a problem with what she says.

I totally agree with her, but that was a very, very dumb thing to say. Exactly. Right now, pissing off Judd and his crew is not a smart move. However, if 27 Dresses is a big hit, she may be just fine. I always thought Shirley Appleby's wooden acting is what made Roswell suck so much. Judd is known for letting his actor improvise and his scripts are more of an outline. So, it wouldn't surprise me that the movie significantly change from the script Katherine read.

Well, I haven't seen Knocked Up but she's right about Grey's Anatomy and by judging from the comments here, she is right about KU too. However, she is also an ungrateful bitch. If it wasn't for GA and Judd Appatow she wouldn't be on the cover of Vanity Fair to yammer about sexism on a movie she read, accepted and promoted as wonderful when she was still trying to make it to the big screen and at the same time selling Shonda out by saying she paired Gizzie just for ratings.
She should have just admitted that she'd do anything it takes to succeed in movieland, including scripts she doesn't believe in but she knows will be right for her career. Instead, she's trying to come off as much better than the people who hired and made her, not because she's a straight shooter but because she wants to be a crowd pleaser. She must know that everybody hates Gizzie by now. I give points to the girl for being PR smart but Hollywood isn't too keen on giving second chances once you've pissed off a lot of people and she isn't nearly as big as she thinks she is to afford it. Dumb dumb move Izzie.
I initially liked her when GA came out and read one of her interviews in Cosmo. Then, she annoyed me like hell during the whole Washington thing. She spoke more than T.R Knight and Patrick Dempsey combined. Now, she's running off her mouth again and I can just predict that if this is just the tip of the iceberg in the Heigl crusade to movie stardom, I should be expecting a lot more gems in the future. Excellent.

Wow. That is another thing that is wrong with Hollywood any, (usually white) presumably pretty actress stars in one movie...and bam she is suddenly getting millions of dollars. As for Katherine, I hated knocked up. I thought it was juvenille and presented both men and women horribly, Paul Rudd's character being the one and notable exception I don't like her in Grey's, I don't think she can act; maybe she does have limited range, and I don't think she is that hot. Pretty sometimes, yes. But I'm not seeing the hotness. You know the type of hotness and acting chops that justify a $6 million paycheck. Anywho, I know it isn't her fault but I'm still mad that she got Sandra Oh's emmy.

Sounds like Katherine is veering into Gwynnie 2.0 territory. I understand making a film you're not thrilled with to help you eventually make films you are thrilled with. I also agree with her assessment of Knocked Up, but I think she could have expressed it better*, more articulately, and at a better time. *What if that is the best she could express herself?

She has always been like this. The hate she gets on TWOP is way over-the top, but Katherine just always seems to go out of her way to alienate fans. She pulled similar shit with Roswell - saying that she was purposefully late to set every day because she hated the show so much and that it was such a hardship being on a show when 'only ten people were watching it'. In light of her new comments, I'm beginning to wonder if she just has an inclination for self-sabotage.
