Everytime I watch the Rent trailer, I crack up thinking about the "everybody has Aids" song in this movie.
Also gotta love the "I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark, when he made Pearl Harbor" song.

I think that Trey and Matt underestimated working with puppets and their operators. The lush set and the great synchronisation for the puppet's dialogue must have taken a long, long time to shoot. I believe that Trey and Matt were so exhausted after the shoot that they didn't want to relive the nightmares by recording a commentary for the DVD. The extras on the DVD were probably contractual and done long before the movie was finished.
