Sounds like Daniel Craig is really out for good. Other than Idris Elba of course, any faves in Greecieland?
I know my vote! Ioan Gruffudd. Yes, he does need to be in everything. Or, ooh. What about Orlando?

Various sources including Vanity Fair say that Tom Hiddleston is such a lock on the role that bookies in the UK have suspended betting on it. There was also a report that he met with Sam Mendes and the Broccolis last week. I'm a Hiddleston fan, but I thought all the recent Bond talk was 100% his publicist trying to make it happen. Unless maybe it worked? I think he would be an ok Bond, but not remarkable. He's playing a very similar character in The Night Manager and he's good in that, but...meh. And I'm saying that as a fan. |

I am not into the Bond franchise at all but I would see it in a hot minute if Hiddleston was cast.

Actually Rebecca is Swedish.... but she would be amazing. Gillian Anderson also threw herself into the mix. Personally I'm pouting. I love Daniel in the role. He is Bond. |

Yeah, I don't know why I'm even saying he's wrong for it since I don't really care about the Bond movies. Go for it, Tom! I did like Casino Royale and I do think Daniel Craig is kind of perfect as Bond. I don't understand why he's leaving the franchise. It doesn't appear that he has anything better to do. |

I did like Casino Royale and I do think Daniel Craig is kind of perfect as Bond. I don't understand why he's leaving the franchise. It doesn't appear that he has anything better to do. He's been doing it for almost a decade and he's openly talked about how incredible tiring it is to train for the part and keep in shape. The older he gets, the harder that sort of extreme work-out will be on his body. Perhaps he just decided that he's fine with going back to more low key work and that he's made enough money now to last him ten lifetimes and that's that? |
