Not Jamie Bell no way.

I like most/all of the actors on that list, but Idris is honestly the only one I'm interested in seeing as Bond.

Yeah, Idris has that intangible "it" factor for the character. I don't really know the other actors but I'd just laugh if Hiddleston came on the screen.

I've never seen a Bond film ever, but I would finally see one if Idris Elba was cast. I have a feeling it will be Hiddleston though. Yawn.

My sister had a mini Bond marathon to rewatch a lot of the ones she hadn't seen in ages. She texted me throughout and a lot of the messages were the frowny-shock face, especially in re: a lot of the racism.

And sexism, those Bond movies from the 60s and 70s were bad.

The sexism is a different ball of wax for me. If I were a gorgeous, glamorous ladyspy with a fast car, I would probably be pretty busy treating attractive men rather casually, too. However, I think I would still be appalled by a caged person turning into a gorilla, a la Diamonds Are Forever. The Bond Girl column on the Mary Sue has a lot of good discussion about everything that falls under the cringe/problem column.

And sexism, those Bond movies from the 60s and 70s were bad. Sean Connery's rather cavalier attitude toward slapping women doesn't help with that, either.

Hiddleston just doesn't say Bond to me. I find him kind of dull, anyway.
