Quantum of Solace was just meh. I liked Casino Royale, but the only thing QofS had to do with the series was the title from a short story which they shoehorned in. The boring revenge plot- blech.

Hope the next one is better.

It didn't really hold together- he was running all over without a coherent reason and it all seemed so random.

Ben Whishaw (whom I believe is gay just not yet formally Quinto-ed out) is confirmed as the new Q.

I actually would love before she is replaced for the series to delve into M's backstory. Or have her actually fight. Dame Judi is the first M that I can actually buy as a kick-ass spy. That's actually been my dream since she was first cast.

Oh, and, hey there, look at the IMDB synopsis, which I just looked up:

Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
