When did Beauxbatons become an all-girls' school? I know they never mention Durmstrang girls, but Parvati and Padma definitely ditch Harry and Ron at the Yule Ball to flirt with Beauxbatons boys. And the pronunciation of the name sucks--i always pronouced it like the French would.

Having lodged that one complaint, I think it looks awesome. I don't really even mind Harry looking like a trained dolphin--he's a bit of a show-off anyway, and they've got to make it interesting for the crowd to watch somehow. It must be really boring to sit in bleachers while all the action is happening UNDERWATER, but whatever.

PS solly79 I looked for Voldy but didn't see him--I figured they were keeping how he's going to look a secret. When did you see him?

Okay, I actually watched it twice to get another look at Krum, but I really was watching for Voldy too.

Imelda Staunton appeared today on ITV's "This Morning" show and confirmed that she will indeed play the part of Professor Dolores Umbridge in HP 5. She also said that she has not yet received a script and will begin work on the film next year.

She's not in the least froggy looking ! I wonder how horrid they can make her look with prosthetics...

She doesn't look froggy, but she does have a broad face, and judging from this picture (she's the one in the middle), I think that with the right makeup/prosthetics and a fat suit she would make a great Umbridge.

Man, I just shudder thinking about Umbridge. I don't think I've hated a fictional character more. The little girly-voice, the faux sweetness, the stupid bow in her hair...GAH!

YES! Perfect casting! Way back on The Other Site That Must Not Be Named, I mentioned her as Umbridge. I am very excited about this.

Of course, I still think Tracey Ullman would also be superb in this role.

I always pictured Umbridge as looking like the actress that plays Professor Flick. That's the name of the teacher with the plants right? That is the actress I am talking about.
