Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. My favorite so far, Viktor was hot. I love the twins, I think Ron is cute, Hermoine was heartbreaking. And the actor that played Cederic Diggory was smoking hot.

I was quite impressed by Rupert and Dan! I've said all along that Dan was the weak link out of the trio, but he really did a good job in this one. Maybe he's steadily improving as the directors become more competent?
The boyf doesn't like Emma either. He kept whispering in my ear "she acts with her eyebrows!"
I loved the twins too! They definitely became more of the trouble makers I think of them as, and the part where they were putting their names in the Goblet was hilarious. I wonder how much of it they allowed the kids to ad-lib, it felt much more natural than the movies with other directors (cough cough Chris Columbus cough cough).

I just got back from seeing this with my kids. We loved it, although my nine-year-old was pretty scared at parts. I fell in love with Cedric Diggory, he was perfect. I thought Dumbledore was a little over the top in some scenes. He always seems so calm in the books.

Wasn't Cedric the perfect matinee idol? I agree about Emma's eyebrow acting--what was that about? Unfortunately the film version of Hermione made her seem constantly overwrought and borderline hysterical at times... The book allows for more layering than that.

I was actually a (little) bit disappointed with this one. I really enjoyed most of it, but I didn't really like Ralph Fiennes' Voldemort. I didn't like the way LV was jumping and running around the graveyard. I pictured LV as being somewhat like Michael Meyers - he wouldn't be running all over the place like a hyena because he wouldn't need to; he knows he is going to get you. I also pictured his voice as being colder and slightly more high pitched. Think a male equivalent to Maleficint in Sleeping Beauty. I don't mean to get all fangirl wankery, but damnit! I was anticipating something completely different.
Also, what was with Dumbledore? I was pretty surprised when he pushed Harry against the table and had his hand around his throat after his name was pulled out of the goblet. I liked Michael Gambon in the 3rd one, but in this one he just seemed far too gruff and rough.
I really enjoyed everything else. I noticed that Ginny had a couple of good one liners. Kloves must have known how she was going to develop.

I was a little disappointed in the movie as well, but I thought Ralph Fiennes was one of the best things in it. I really liked his interpretation of LV, creepy, yet still sort of human-ish. Anyway, we really enjoyed it, but I agree with everyone else that I would have liked a little more of the World Cup. The storylines were choppy, but that's understandable, considering everything that happens in the book. Also, Alan Rickman, aka my future baby-daddy, only had like three lines!! I think the Sorcerer's Stone is still my favorite movie, though Goblet of Fire is by far my favorite of the books (so far). So I think that's why I came away from the movie feeling a little unsatisfied with it.

I saw it last night, it was alright. I think I went in with really high expectations because it was getting so many good reviews, so I was a bit let down.
Some things that bugged: - I thought it was pretty melodramatic at some points, like when Hermione was yelling at Ron during the Yule Ball. I know tons of people hate Emma Watson, and I feel sorry for the girl because any girl in her position would be hated, but I really don't think she can act. Wow. I could just see her trying to act and that bothered me, I thought Rupert and Dan were way more natural. - I wish they had more of an ending, I would love to see the scene where Harry's in the hospital and Molly gives him a hug. It would have been nice. - Who the fuck cares about that stupid dragon? That was such a waste of time and I was getting annoying. - I thought Voldemort was too human. I expected him to be taller and...less human.
Things I liked: - Cho Chang, she was adorable. - I loved the scene where Harry and Cedric go to Tom Riddle's grave. It was definately the best part of the movie for me, when Harry yells at Cedric to grab the portkey, when Wormtail takes his blood, Harry's little duel with Voldemort. I know I said Voldemort was too human but I just loved that entire part. - I cried when Harry came back with Cedric and he was crying and the music was blaring and everybody realized what happened. I thought it was moving, haha. - I liked Harry and Ron's fight. I love Rupert.

I couldn't get over how scary it was. I'm 26 and Voldemort scared the hell out of me. I can't imagine what it would be like for a bunch of 7 year olds (or maybe I'm just a 'fraidy cat). I agree. A little girl (5?) and her little brother (3?) next to me were hiding her face and whining. I sometimes wonder about parents bringing their kids to some types of movies. Needless to say between that and her asking her mother "Who's that?" "What just happened?" it was not the most enjoyable movie going experience. This is why I hate going to movies. Don't get me wrong I love children, but sometimes kids should be left home or maybe parents should see the movie first and then determine if the kid can handle it. Hell, I even heard their father ask "Why didn't we leave them at home?"

Have they casted Bellatrix Lestrange yet? Because in the scene in the graveyard there was a woman standing next to Lucius Malfoy who fit the character's description in the books almost perfectly. Did anyone else notice her? Long black hair and crazy eyes.
