I doubt it. They would've announced that casting because Bellatrix plays a main role later in the books.

Saw the movie and it was fantastic! I loved Rupert Grint as Ron and Daniel is improving as Harry, but I think, unfortunately, Emma is going through an awkward phase. Not in the looks department, mind you I've always thought she was too pretty to play Hermoine, but her acting is very forced, like she's trying extra hard to enunciate. Odd since I remember enjoying her in the first movie, but since then she's developed more affectations over time.

I just got back and you can add me to the LOVED it crowd. My favorite of the four. I felt that they made the correct cuts (although the editing was a tad choppy) and still kept the spirit of the book. This is Harry Potter as I imagined it.
I loved seeing the twins play a bigger role - I'm guessing this is step into the right direction since they're a big part of book 5.
I will agree that they could have sacrificed some of the ridiculously long dragon task for more of the Quiddich World Cup. An extended world cup scene would be nice for the DVD!
The end was very well done - the scene with the wands was so tense. I just about cried when Harry's parents came out. Everything from the Triwizard Cup portkey to the end was just note perfect.
I'm also so happy they kept the Malfoy as a ferret scene.
Great move - going to see this one again.

I totally missed the veela at the World Cup. I can always use more Snape--how perfect was the Yule Ball scene with him and the kids? It's always nice to see a bit of humanity in him, even as he's knocking their heads together.

Wait, what was this? Am I forgetting a scene?

I just remembered something else that bugged me: Sirius tells Harry that Barty Crouch has a "heart of stone," but we don't see this in the movie the way we do in the book. Aside from the Pensieve scene, he just seemed like a nervous, overwhelmed bureaucrat. And I missed Ludo Bagman, although I understand why they cut him.

I haven't seen it yet, but will probably go this week - although my mate went and said that when Emma Watson was trying to act all distressed at the end (hugging a tree or something?? I didn't follow what scene it was) the entire theatre burst into giggles at her over the top grimaces. And then when everyone was filing out, you could hear these comments about how hilarious her "acting" was. My mate said it was at best, very distracting. So now I'm going to go see it and it's gonna be all I notice. Yippee.

I just came back from seeing the movie. And I really can't see how Emma Watson's acting was so horrible. I read this thread before I went and saw the movie, and I actually looked for her so-called eyebrow acting. Just didn't see it. She's not this stellar actress, but she certainly wasn't atrocious. They left alot out, but this movie was already at two and a half hours, so I guess they had to cut out alot. Bummer. I hope there are tons of deleted scenes/extended scenes in the DVD. Overall, this is my favorite. I can see why it's getting great reviews. It seemed more real to me. I giggled at how teenage they were...yet Harry having such an adult task on his shoulders. Having to witness what he did and knowing it'll get worse. I didn't shed any tears, though. Loved it. ETA: I saw a bunch of little kids in the theater....like around three or four years of age. Shame on the parents who took them to see that.

I saw it the other night and totally loved it, but as always: more Snape, more Lucias!! I agree about Emma's over-acting - perhaps after all the editing, her dramatic scenes were the only ones used. Still, I got tired of each line being delivered as if it were an emergency.
