I'm not surprised though. He said months ago that Part I was all the talking/exposition and Part II would be all action. I think if we expect any of the backstory that was missing from DH I to show up in DH II we'll be disappointed. It's all about The Battle.

Everyone seems to report that "The Prince's Tale" is really well done and Alan Rickman knocks it out of the park. HBC also kicks ass during the Hermione-as-Bellatrix scene and McGonagall is awesome in general.

Molly does get her "Not my daughter, you bitch" line.


They said it runs about 2 hours (without credits).

I didn't see any mention of the house elves participating in the battle. That sucks, I was looking forward to that.

I didn't notice the hand holding at first, because I was looking at Blaise's bulge. Mrow!!

I guess the guy who played Crabbe was fired from DH after his arrest for growing weed. I read that Goyle is the one the dies in the RR instead. I can't wait to see how they handle the scene.
