Am I the only one that thinks that the guy playing Krum is freakin hot? I pictured Krum being kind of homely, but I am okay with his casting. They definitely got Cho and Cedric right though. As for Fleur, damn that girl isn't even remotely pretty. She is just as plain as a blank piece of paper. The girl should be at least interesting looking.

No, Coffeecakes, you're not the only one. BookKrum is described as having a nose like a beak and heavy eyebrows, but MovieKrum....wow. I think he's better looking than the guy playing Cedric Diggory, and Diggory's supposed to be the looker of the pair.

I'm totally counting that guy who plays Krum to help me through my grief at the loss of Oliver Wood. He's definitely too good-looking to be canon.

I'll be the fourth to pipe up and say the actor playing Krum is very attractive. The guy who is playing Cedric doesn't do it for me...but Viktor...yummy.

Aaand that settles it... I shall henceforth only refer to Movie!Viktor as Viktor Yum. I 'spect it'll be a black mark on my dignity for years to come.

More on topic, I'm curious to see how GoF is handled. I don't see how it can properly being made into a three hour or under movie without seriously sacrificing the Quiddich World Cup and tournament scenes. I'm guessing a lot of the side stories (SPEW, Madam Maxime and Hagrid's unholy semi-union, Rita Skeeter and her articles, the school against Harry when he's chosen as champion) will be whittled down to a couple lines - I fully espect some to be barely existant, like the conflicts between Hermione and the boys in PoA. I know it's not realistic to expect everything to appear in each movie, but from the massive amount lost in translation from the previous three, the last four movies are a bit frightening to me.

Viktor Yum? Hell yeah! He's only 20 yrs old(hee! my age), *cough* but anyway, he's definitely better looking than the guy cast for Cedric. But that guy's cute too. It's just that they put Viktor Yum all up in your face, and you ignore Cedric completely. How sad is it that I have already looked him up on IMDB?

Saw the Extra clip, and the movie does look fantastic. I have just finished GOF yesterday as a matter of fact, and it looks exactly as I pictured it. Except for you know, Viktor being freakin hot! Oh yeah, and Fleur looking like shit.

About the casting for OotP: I didn't know Helen McCrory, but judging by her picture, she could definitely play well as Bellatrix.

For Tonks: I agree Laura Rees looks good! She have the heart-shaped face and the looks for me. I don't see Keira Knightley -too young for me. Anna Friel? she is indded pretty and (spoiler) <<certainly has good chemistry with David Thewlis<<, but.."how can I say this"...after watching her in Watermelon and Rogue Trader, I'm not very convinced about her acting abilities.

Wanna know something awful? It's only from the caption that I found out that the guy on the left is Clemence Poesy. So not pretty enough to be Fleur, but if they were making Tipping the Velvet into a movie, she'd be my first choice for Nan. I don't even care if she can't do a passible English accent, girl would make a pretty drag king.
