The art on that DVD cover makes the film look like the cheap , indistinct, generic Science Fiction turd it is. ( I still haven't see a single decent picture promoting this film)
Summer Glau doesn't look like River, she doesn't even look like Summer Glau. (too much Photoshop? She looks like a glammed up Faith from Buffy, but less pretty)
And when did the Serenity ship get laser cannons ?
The cover is misleading and badly designed, looks like a badly conceived Photoshop work from a fan, not like a professionally designed sheet for a multimillion Hollywood production...
I see this selling 1-1.5 million tops.

This movie had a bad ad campaign from the start. The movie trailer I saw was of a "next week on Firefly quality, the posters looked like a spoof of a big screen production and the TV ads featured Nate Fillion monotoning a 'joke'. Of course, this flick was so poor it wouldn't have suceeded with a great ad campaign.

Yep...I remember many people thinking it was a spoof of Science Fiction films.
In fact, I bet MadTV would so make a better looking spoof on their show...

No electricity yet, I live in S. Fla, so we went to the movies to see Serenity again. Loved it, again. Delicious air conditioning.
I'm putting pre order in now as well! That doll is too funny TamaraDixon.
