I think she broke her nose surfing (thank you, US magazine). I also don't think there's any indication at all that PAB is responsible here (come on, she could kick his ass with one hand tied behind her back).

Word on the drug rumours, though. She's A-List now so I guess she can afford the best PR team money can buy. She also seems to be a very physical person - she surfs, she skis, she fights paparazzi etc. I wouldn't be surprised if she injured herself doing flying karate kicks off the couch or something - she seems the type.

A friend of of friend that had worked with Cam had said that she is a high functioning heroin addict -- ie, she does heroin but not to the extent that she is unable to cope with work, etc. Since the source was kind of sketchy I was never sure whether to believe that or not but stories like this one make me think that it could be true.

There have been numerous BIs about Cam and her drug use, including one I remember because they said she was shooting up between her toes (!!)

I am so ready to believe the drug rumours but I've heard that one of the side-effects of heroin use is *clear* skin. I've also heard one of the side effects of crystal meth is serious acne.

PAB doesn't seem like the abusive type (although, that doesn't necessarily mean much).

I had the same thought when I heard the story. It seems like she's had a lot more of these accidents since she's been with him. Or maybe they are just getting more coverage?

A friend of mine (who is a casting director) once called her a "walking pharmacy" Of course this was back when she was with Jared Leto. So maybe she's cleaned up her act.

Well, there was a story the other day that quotes Lance Bass as saying that he's (they're?) not allowed to talk about her because she gets "pissed."
Maybe he broke the rule, invoked her wrath and the stitches are her war wounds? I'd expect her to win a fight with him, but perhaps the other members of NSYNC jumped in to help.
