I kind of wish that character was in the movie a bit more. I loved the whole, "And I was all, you're the bitch, bitch!" And of course "Never be named Dan. Cause Dan rhymes with man and men jerk off. And Dan was a jerk-off." Girlfriend was hysterical. She was really good in the movie. But it was weird seeing her in that role because I always thinkof her as the oh-so-sweet girlfriend in George of the Jungle. And she's Apatow's wife.

I found this movie funnier then I thought I would. I loved the old Indian guy, Mooj who just kept spewing out profanities. Thge exchangges between him and Jay......Gold.

No. Freakin'. Way. You learn something new every day, I guess. And even better...according to imdb, Apatow got the idea for his wife to fall asleep at the wheel and the subsequent craziness from their daughter... ;D

I think it's way better than Wedding Crashers. Much funnier, and much more consistent. WC just dragged on....and on.... and on. Plus, it's nowhere near as quotable as 40YOV.
Oh, and this:
is too funny. I wonder how old their daughter is? (Goes to check IMDB...)

I liked 40YOV better than WC too. I just thought it was sweeter and funnier. Plus, as much as I love Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, they essentially play the same character in each movie. 40YOV had great leads and supporting work too.

Add me to the love it more than Wedding Crashers group.
That movie is endlessly quotable. I think it's cute that Steve Carrell's wife is in the movie also (she plays the counselor at the sex workshop)

So IMDB doesn't list how old the Apatows' daughter is, but he and Leslie Mann (Drunk Girl) have only been married since 1997. Not that she couldn't have been born before that, of course, but she still can't be very old! I doubt I could have come up with something that funny now. Guess it runs in the family.
I remember not liking her on "Daily Show," but thought that scene was hysterical. When I took a human sexuality class spring quarter, the professor actually mentioned "outercourse" as a method of birth control and I had so much trouble containing my giggles thanks to this movie. (Okay, it might have been hard anyway.) My friend in the class couldn't believe that was a real term. I love the "Masturbation..." "Play with yourself..." "Mutual masturbation..." "Play with a friend..." exchange. So awkward, and yet SO funny!
