Uma looks horrible in the trailer. Even when she has her usual blonde hair. It hurts me to say that.

You forgot Rainn Wilson too greenbunny! I think the premise is good, but I bet the execution sucks. *sigh*

Wow--Eddie Izzard looks like shit in the photos greenbunny linked to. What's wrong with him? I didn't even know he was in this--I didn't see him in the trailer.

I can't figure out if I like the previews or not. I can't figure out the plot of the film (is it a revenge flick, a love story, male bonding film, what?) and that could be a good thing but most of the stuff with Uma just falls flat. I am much more interested to see the relationships between the guys. Luke, Eddie and Rainn all have excellent comic timing so I can see their parts completely overshadowing the superhero stuff, but maybe that is the point of the movie and it is more of a buddy comedy than a date movie.
I don't think I am making sense... In any case, I will see it.

Am I missing something or does this look completely stupid? I actually admire the off-the-wall plot, but the trailer didn't sell me at all. Which, as an Izzard fan, it pains me to say.

Maybe it was because I read a feminist media studies book the weekend that I saw the trailer but I think it looks really bad. Oh gee, a woman has super powers but she spends them being a jealous controlling clinging biatch. I know it's a comedy and I'm taking it all too hard but honestly, would you ever see Batman being all pissy because someone broke up with him and using his Batmobile to ram into their car or something.

Hello Hollywood--are you listening? For some reason I was excited when I first heard about this film, until I realized the plot sucked so badly.

This movie looks so damn stupid. I'm really disappointed in Izzard, Thurman, and Wilson. Anyone, man or woman, fighting for and making an ass out of themselves after someone dumps them grates my last nerve to begin with but throw in the super powers and I can't roll my eyes enough. I know she's supposed to be cool and funny but it's a woman acting out her desperation and low self-esteem, but WITH SUPER POWERS!!!11! No.

I just saw a commercial for this, and damn it looks bad. What are you doing, Uma?? You're Uma! You're Beatrix Kiddo! This movie is beneath pretty much everyone in it. Maybe I'm missing something here. Is it supposed to be so bad it's good? 'Cause this doesn't seem like an Uma movie to me. Yes, I'm a crazy Uma fan, but Izzard and Wilson look like crap, too. It's just a waste of talent if this is as bad as it looks. It's bordering on White Chicks level badness as far as I'm concerned.
