That movie looks dumb but funny, so I'll wait for the DVD. I would totally use my superwoman powers for petty revenge.
Okay, I'll turn in my feminist card.

I' think it supposed to be a modern action comedy with a no discpt chick with super powers can turn freaky (image If Reed cheated on Susan of F4) I like the cast and Uma had mousey brown hair for Avengers(it was on Cinemax last night) I think Eddie has gained weight on purpose to offset his tv comedian persona not sure about Luke and I even liked him in the crapfest "Home Fries" with Drew Barrymore a couple of years ago so I will see it.

My Super Ex: The Genesis of G-Girl How did Uma Thurman get her super powers? by Steve Head July 7, 2006 - In My Super Ex-Girlfriend, "All of New York accepts the fact that there's a superhero who regularly saves the day," says co-star Anna Faris. And just who is this superhero? She's the stylish, super-sexy, and super-popular G-Girl, played by Uma Thurman. She has super strength, super speed, and super hearing. She's totally super. Except for one little thing... her disposition. G-Girl may have won the hearts of New Yorkers, but the pressure to perform (and always look great) has become too much. On top of that, she's simply become bored with saving people. "I have to help people every day, and nobody's ever helped me," she says. Director Ivan Reitman adds, "Her save-the-day feats have become old hat for her." That being the case, New York now has a superhero who's becoming a bit unhinged. "She doesn't have the temperament to be a superhero," he says. "Or for romance." Over the past year, Jenny has tried to start a relationship, but for one reason or another, it hasn't worked out. So this, too, has left her frustrated. "She's angry most of the time, and that was great fun to play," says Thurman. "I love that the thing about her is Jenny's neurotic, vulnerable and a superhero. You don't often see a female lead like Jenny. Ivan encouraged me to play Jenny as broadly as possible and to take the risk of making the character seem like a fool." Says Reitman, Jenny's also "A very verbal person. She talks too much, and hasn't learned the fine art of self-censorship." But Jenny's not really a fool, she's just lost touch with who she really is. You see, back in High School, she was far from popular. Then, one day during senior year, everything changed. A meteor crashed near her house. She and her boyfriend Barry went to investigate. They found the meteor. She touched it, and thus was given her super powers. (Barry touched it too, and nothing happened.) From that day forward, it was goodbye Jenny Nobody, goodbye boyfriend, and hello G-Girl. Being that Jenny believes "style is everything," what sets G-Girl apart from other superheroes is her look. She doesn't have a standard, easily identifiable costume. What she has is a gargantuan closet containing more than 200 different super-outfits, each bearing a variation of her 'G' emblem. "It appears on all her outfits and it's not affixed as it would be with other superheroes," says costume designer Laura Jean Shannon. "The 'G' is an accessory ranging from a pendant fashioned from diamonds, to a platinum broach, to a 'G' buckle on a black leather belt." Another defining aspect of G-Girl's super persona is her Vortex Wake. Whenever she moves at super speed, be it on the ground or in the air, there's a ripple effect. "We discussed the idea of creating a visual disturbance in the air, which is called a Vortex Wake," says effect supervisor Erik Nash. "This makes her more visible when she's flying at super speeds. She travels so fast that she bends the light in the air around her. It's her signature trail." G-Girl has the look, and the moves, of course, but that's all meaningless when it comes to maintaining a relationship. When her latest gentleman caller, Matt Saunders (played by Luke Wilson) breaks up with her, he says, "You might be the hottest girl I've ever gone out with, but you want to know something? You're the craziest, hands down!" Now Jenny's not just frustrated, she's totally pissed off. She tries to get back together with Matt. But when she discovers he has a new girlfriend, Hannah (played by Anna Faris), she becomes determined to break-up the relationship, and make Matt's life a living hell. "We've all had relationships go bad," says Reitman. "We're just taking this to another level." I got some more info on the movie and on the *Uma/Eddie relationship* he was the high school boyfriend named "Barry" who becomes criminal Prof Bedlam at least his name isn't Melvin !

I kind of LIKE the trailer.. I know. There must be something seriously wrong with me.
My question is, Who do you think is the cuter Wilson? Luke with the puffiness or Owen with the penis nose?
Although Owen is somehow oddly attractive I find his nose a little..distracting??? I vote for Luke. Maybe THAT'S why I like the trailer. Maybe you all think I have no taste at all!!

I think Owen is one of the hottest guys in Hollywood. I think Luke is cute too.
I will rent this because of Dwight, though.
ETA: My bad. Rainn Wilson. Is that his name? He's playing Dwight anyway.

The first million times I saw the preview, I thought it looked awful. Now I find myself giggling at it. Especially when Uma punches the car window. That being said, I'm not sure I'm going to pay to see it.
