Some gossip on the wedding: Camilla is wearing a suit by Robert Valentine and a hat by Phillip Treacy. The civil service is taking place at a registry office, rather than Windsor castle. There are going to be 700 guests at the church "blessing".
Also - Charles wanted to have a big bash the day before the wedding but the Queen said no - I guess she thought it would be tacky or something. The Queen also told Charles and Camilla they couldn't sleep together the night before the wedding.

The Queen is Losing It! Telling her 50-something son who is LIVING with his mistress that they can't sleep together before the wedding?? LMFAO! And they wonder why inbreeding is NOT healthy.

This wedding is turning into such a fiasco. First, they had to move it from Windsor castle to the town registry office...now they find out that if it's in the registry office, they must allow members of the public in.
The Queen has forced him to cut down the number of guest he was planning on inviting. Apparently, George Bush has told them not to bother dropping 'round the Whitehouse when they visit. And the press is getting increasingly nasty.

Well, the wedding's getting even worse! A lot of constitutional experts are saying that it won't be a legal marriage. And the fun continues! The Queen has announced she won't be attending the civil ceremony: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4289225.stm

Bwaaah. The queen won't attend because they want it to be a low key event huh? Heh. No, the Queen wants it to be low key and C &C wanted a big bash. I hope this starts a trend and everyone stays away except maybe for Chelsy. I'd love her to show up. Uninvited. But that wouldn't be a problem because any of the public can attend. Then she and Harry could make out in front of the camaras.
Who the hell is in charge of planning this anyway?
This is getting to be such fun. ;D

I've found my home! I'm packing my bags and heading for the land of saggy boobs. At my age and after heaving out a few offspring, I have boobs that hang like dog's ears, and no, foundation garments simply aren't made to contain my level of asymmetry. You go Camilla! You go Queen!

Okay, yes, there is, indeed, someone here over 40. I'm 59 ;D and think that C&C are ugly, tacky people who truly deserve each other and the life that they will have.
I thought there was such a thing as morganatic marriage in the UK. Seems I recall that Eddie 8 was offered that as a prospective solution to his situation with Wally and he (or she, can't remember) said no dice.
The Queen doesn't approve of this marriage and that's why she isn't coming to the wedding. But it doesn't really matter and neither does anything else because, as someone said earlier, he'll be so old when he finally does become king that he might just say the hell with it and give it to Wills.

Actually, most ppl are IN FAVOR of the C&C wedding. They realize that Charles' forced marriage to the unstable egomaniac Diana was wrong. Now he's with the woman he truly LOVES! And as for the Queen's not attending, HELLOOOOOOOOOOO, she's only throwing them a HUGE bash at her CASTLE. As EVERYONE knows the reason the Queen (and other major royals) are not attending the ceremony is because of security measures. In the event that Charles does become king, he'd have to go through several chambers of Parliament and gain authority from the Prime Minister to "hand the thrown over to Wills" which would probably be more trouble than it's worth.
And what does looks have to do with anything? Neither the POW or Camilla have ever pretended to be glamourous nor do they care to be. I think it's actually refreshing to see "celebrities" not so fascinated by their own looks.
