Charles, IMO, is a whiny idiot. I have never liked him and I think he'll make a terrible king. I think Diana was right when she said the crown should pass straight to William.

Camilla.....well, besides looking like a goat with a pompadour, she's alright. I guess. Her kids are wastes of flesh and oxygen and pretty much useless.

The two of them together make so much ugly that it's practically suffocating. Ugh. Charles is every inch the Frankenstein creation of centuries of inbreeding.

Congratulations to them if they're happy. All I know is that if I lived in the UK I'd be pretty pissed off right now.

Heh...not quite. I agree that it's good she isn't modelling herself on Alexandra von Furstenberg, but have you compared the recent photos of Cami to those from a couple of years ago? It's patently obvious that girlfriend's been dipping into the botox (i dunno...maybe she and Princess Michael of Kent buy it in bulk to save money.

I was looking at the shots of CPB today. Is there like a shortage of bras in the UK or something or do women there just not care about breast-saggage? B/c her tits are down to her belly-button. She really needs to invest in some higher quality undergarments. It's not just her...I've noticed it w/ the Queen, too. I don't understand why you'd go to the trouble to get all done up in a nice dress and jewellery and then not bother with a properly supporting bra.

Okay, I'll give Minna the bra thing. Hate to admit it, but too f-ing funny! But come on, it's LOVE!!! And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I think they're cute!!!

I guess the botox thing may be true. Someone else has recently pointed that out as well.

I actually find them refreshing. Yes, she is not so great looking but she clearly could give a hoot. She did not even bother with a manicure when she knew everyone would be looking at the ring!

I think it so much better than the silly socials (Tory, Renee, Aerin etc. and the pretend princess Miller sisters). They are the opposite. They spend ALL of their time getting work done, going to fashion shows, dieting and "pretending" to work in fashion or some other glamorous industry so that they can seem to do more with their time. At least she is genuine. She likes horses, hunting, fishing etc. and she looks like it.

I think it was wrong of Charles to have an affair with her but let's face it he was forced to marry Diana out of royal obligation to find a virgin. Poor Diana would have been better off with a civilian who truly loved her. At least he is finally being honest....

Ha...I think MC, Tory, Aerin, & Tinsley are "genuine" in their love of fashion shows and botox, too!

Camilla seems kind of hopeless...I mean, what does she do? She's uneducated, has no money of her own, has not skills or qualifications, has never held a job, etc. I don't get it.

You know I'm gonna jump to C&Cs defense. She doesn't HAVE to do anything! The POW is IN LOVE w her. Hello?? What don't you understand about this situation? She's a country woman who enjoys country pursuits. And she DOES have $$$ of her own. Her family is of aristocratic lineage and she was raised in the blue blood circles. Also, her ex husband left her some $$$ after their divorce (he is a TRUE gentleman in every sense of the word). I agree w Minnie in that she DOESN'T CARE what us peons out there think. She has her man and screw the lot of us. He just happens to be a Prince.

Actually...she doesn't have all that money. She lost a lot of it when Lloyd's went under. I don't know if I'd call her destitute, but she doesn't have a lot of money of her own...after the divorce she and her former husband had to sell their home. THen I guess she lost some money. It was her *friends* who bought her the country place she lives in when she's not living with Charles. As for her husband giving her a lot of money, I doubt it...the Parker Bowles family in general is rich (and own a lot of Manchester)...however, I guess he's not from teh rich branch of the family. In the marriage, Camilla was the one with the money, not Andrew...and after the divorce Andrew went and married another wealthy woman.

As far as Andrew being a "true gentleman" it depends on your definition of those terms...he is in the sense that he didn't humiliate his ex by blabbing to the press about their marriage. At the same time, he cheated on her constantly throughout the marriage (as well as before).

I don't know if it's fair to say I'm disgusted by Charles and Camilla...but I don't see their marriage as the triumph of love or anything - more as the triumph of two deeply selfish individuals who didn't really care who they hurt in their lives.

I didn't realize the PBs had $$$ issues. Now that you mention it, I do recall hearing that friends bought her country estate. God, how embarassing must that have been??? Still, I remain happy for them! This should have happened years ago. People are just burnt 'cuz Cam isn't as glam as Di was. But Di was a headcase. And they all are guilty of adultery, only Di is dead while these two are able to live on in wedded bliss. I think they deserve to be happy. If Di had ended up marrying that lowlife Hewitt - whom she cheated with - I'd be happy for her if she was truly in love. Life is too short.

I'm one of those whose heart isn't warmed by the upcoming marriage. I think they're both sleazes. It's not the cheating alone that does it. Let me explain: having "open" or "sham" marriages amongst the aristocracy isn't necessarily strange. It really isn't unusual for an aristocratic man especially to have extra-marital affairs. But these two were different - while he and Diana were married, he wasn't just having a discrete dalliance w/ someone he was parading her around as if she was his wife. She all but moved into Highgrove, his and Diana's country estate, would attend parties with him, would host dinners with him, etc. When Diana got to be too much trouble for them, Charles and Camilla went around spreading rumours, and encouraged their friends to spread rumours, that she was mentally ill. Even if Diana did have affairs, at least she did the "proper" thing and tried to keep them discrete and "in the closet", so to speak.

It's not just the fact that he cheated, it's that they treated Diana so horribly. Yeah, I know she was insane, but not so insane she deserved what she got from Charles ,Camilla, and their idiotic friends.
