Kate's an idiot, if it's true. But I've never been impressed with her brain power so it could well be. For the sake of her daughter (if not for her own health), Kate should dump him.
He looks skeevy. I also think he's loves his 'tortured artiste' persona to give up the drugs. Sooner or later, he's going to OD, and then he can have the whole 'tortured artiste' legend. Of course, he'll be dead, but that probably hasn't occurred to him.
I know someone who absolutely adores him. She's shallow, given to tantrums at the drop of a hat (waiting five minutes for a tube in London is FAR too much for her to cope with), and is also heavily into the "I'm a tortured genius" act. Oddly enough, she loathes Kate with a passion - but I suspect that's jealousy.

I believe it. I remember when he first went around telling everyone that they were dating--I thought that he was full of shit, but it was true. Kate is drugged-up enough and/or stupid enough to go ahead and marry this hideous imbecile.
I hope Jefferson Hack gets sole custody. Although he's an idiot too, for breeding with this mess.

If they did marry, it shows the courts that Kate is terminally out of her skull. This may be a good thing for Hack. Hope he moves fast. |

What's most stupid about this marriage is that it's not because they really love each other. Kate was quoted as saying they wanted to create a "new cult of personality" that was wild and romantic. In other words, they're trying to be the new Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg--this is all about image.

I don't care what Kate and Pete do to each other but I feel sooo sorry for their babies.
I am so sick of celebs bringing babies into their world and screwing them up.

I remember seeing pics of her and Johnny Depp back in the 90's and thinking they looked high on smack.
That was a dark period for him. Smashing up hotel rooms, etc. I wonder what broke them up?

I think it's all about image too - and for that reason I'm not sure that Kate is as drugged out as the she lets the media make her to be. I mean, she likes the idea of being wild and hedonistic with an edge of danger but I really think that if she was as doped out as the tabloids suggest she'd be wrecked physically and she would not be working to the extent that she is. I'm not saying she is some kind of innocent angel - I'm sure she can get high with the best of them. Rather, I wonder if the extent of her drug use is widely exaggerated to make her seem more interesting. Either that, or I want to know how she deals with her morning afters! For someone who allegedly uses as much a she does, she still manages to not only look great but also turn up to work on time, get through the day without complaining and have designers and editors lining up to work with her.

Johnny has said he was never much into drugs but was a heavy drinker due to chronic depression. I think he and Kate were definitely drinking buddies--alcohol is what she later went to rehab for. As for the breakup, my impression is that Kate doesn't have much of an intellectual life and is incapable of entertaining herself, so whenever Johnny was busy working (or, you know, reading) she'd be bored and complaining all the time. Eventually, I think she dumped him because she wanted someone who would spend more time doting on her.

Excellent take Ginger on Johnny and Kate. It looked pretty together but he was too different from her.
Pete Doherty? Oh my!
1)I think he is crazy enough to go around claiming they are married when they aren't. He does have a habit of talking about her all the time to the press. Something which annoys her but everytime he does it she hooks up with him again days later so I really don't know to what extent she is annoyed?
2)If it is true that they got hitched I can see her annulling it faster than Britney straight outta Vegus!
