Oh my god. I've heard the trailer for this movie a million times on TV while distracting myself on the Internet, but I just paid attention for the first time and it seems to be some twisted, moronic, teeny-bopper version of Twelfth Night. They're even using the names! Olivia, Viola, Sebastian, Duke, Toby, Andrew, Maria... And there seems to be something called the Illyria Boys Soccer Team as well.

I feel dirty. How could they sully Twelfth Night like this? It's my favourite Shakespeare play.

And it's not like I'm opposed to modernizations; I loved the production a local university-college did a few years ago where the play took place in a modern rock-and-roll setting and the Duke was a rock star and everyone wore jeans and leather and shiny things.

But Amanda Bynes? NOOOOOO!

I think she is the most unattractive male. Why is her face so round? Ah, homophobia jokes, always funny. First she made Colin Firth uncool, now this. Grrr.

I can't help it. I love Amanda Bynes. I mean, sure, she'll probably never ever make a movie that's legitimately good, but her face is just so fresh and cute!
