I inherited an interest in racing from my dad, as well, and we've been making fun of Days of Thunder for, what, sixteen years now, as well as calling Jeff Gordon Cole Trickle. However, it might just have been the greatest movie TC ever made. (embarassing confession) When I first saw the preview for Talladega Nights and saw John C Reilly I yelled, hey, he was in Days of Thunder!
I'll be going to see this.

I love Will Ferrell, but this movie looks kinda meh. Then again, I thought the same thing about "Anchorman" and that movie is one of my favorites to watch/quote. I'm a little weirded out that John C. Reilly is in it though, but it really endeared JCR to me when he showed up with WF to the MTV Movie Awards. In costume, no less. That was pretty funny.

I saw a commercial tonight for it. It was the same one they've been showing all along, except...instead of him saying "Help me Tom Cruise" He says "Help me Oprah Winfrey" I hope CTC hasn't done anything to make them change the lines and he says both Oprah and Tom, but with Tom Cruise, you never know. I like NAscar and Love Will, so i'm sure i'll see it.

Knowing Will Ferrell, he probably yelled out the name of anyone/thing that one might consider a deity. They're probably all in the movie.
He showed up on The Tonight Show last night wearing his racing suit. Still not feelin' it, but I think it's hilarious alone that John C. Reilly is in this movie.

Movie looks funny as hell, but I won't be seeing it in theaters. DVD rental for me.

I'm really excited for this movie, and I have a feeling I'm going to want to see it multiple times. I'll probably have to wait until it hits the dollar theaters and go 5 or 6 times, like I did with Anchorman and Napoleon Dynamite. Then again, I may be out of the country by the time it's in 2nd run theaters so...drat! And no one knows who the hell Will Ferrell is in the UK, so I bet it won't get shown over there. Grrr. Dilema!

I have been dying for some silly, stupid humor. I just watched Anchorman, 40-Year-Old Virgin and Dodgeball. I can't wait to get my Will Ferrell fix, I don't care if it is stupid. I actually saw Kicking and Screaming at the theatre. I am so Will Ferrell's bitch.
I don't want my hopes to get too high, but all the high pitched "WOOOOO!'s" in the previews and the Sprint commercial make me giggle every time I see them.

I absolutely cannot wait for this movie. I have been going through Will Ferrell withdrawls because Boyfriend has kidnapped my copies of both Anchorman and Elf. I seriously contemplated watching Wedding Crashers again the other night just for his part. *Sigh* Will Ferrell owns me.

I may be stupid, but I totally want to see this. I didn't at first, but his children "Walker" & "Texas Ranger" just sold me tonight. Stupid preview selling the movie - at a matinee price though.
