I am positively giddy that they made this movie. I enjoy making fun of stereotypical NASCAR fans. Not the cool people on this board who like NASCAR, of course, but the people you suspect who had siblings for parents.

I read the other day that the studio bought this movie on a six-word pitch alone: "Will Ferrell as a NASCAR driver." AWESOME. Even though I was kind of iffy at first, the clips that they've shown during WF's recent talk show appearances have sold me. Even if I don't find it side-splittingly hilarious the first time (I didn't LOVE Anchorman the first time) it will probably be one of those movies that gets funnier every time I watch it.

This is frickin' amazing. I'm not in complete agreement with the placement of the sketches on the list (I would put Cowbell at number one) but it still kept me entertained for half an hour. There were even some on there that I hadn't seen before! And yes, it includes the sketch from my avatar, in case laconicchick is curious.

And I'm in total agreement with Ang--mindless entertainment is what I expect from Will Ferrell. If it brings the funny, and I'm quoting it two weeks later...well done, Will.

Oh my Gosh, THANK YOU SusyHomewrecker! We dont get SNL in my country so many of the skits Ive heard of but havent seen.
This is gonna make up for the kids outvoting me and watching Ed Ed and Eddy instead of Anchorman this afternoon.

Oooh, yaaay! I know "Save me Tom Cruise" is still in it, because I saw a new commercial for it last night - but what about the remark about "Save me with your voodoo!" - did they keep that?
