I liked it - I quite agree that it wasn't as good as "Anchorman" - I mean NO ONE was called a smelly pirate hooker - a rip-off if you ask me.
It was still funny and amused me for 1 1/2 hours which was the whole point really.
Even the itty bitty baby Jesus rants made me giggle.

My favorite WTF bit was when John C. Reilly told a comatose-ish Ricky Bobby that he had posed for Playgirl. The way he just went on and on about spreading his ass cheeks in Playgirl and that he just wanted Ricky to know that was hysterical. I loved Reilly's performance. So confused. Hee!

^^Yeah, my boyfriend likes to randomly bust out that line at inappropriate times just to make me laugh. John C. Reilly was by FAR the best character in the movie!

My favorite part was when Ricky Bobby stabbed himself in the thigh with a knife and his friends were trying to pry it out with another knife. So stupid but so very funny!
