So, whos seen it? Any good?
I'm looking forward to it, but some reviews have me a bit worried that its just gonna be too self-referential and 'Oh ho ho, aren't we funny?'-ish.
Would really appreciate some feedback.

I saw it and I enjoyed it, of course my expectations were incredibly low going in (I was expecting it to completely suck.) It is a bit self-referential and Kevin Smith's wife can't act for shit but other than that I thought it was pretty good. It was a good way to kill time plus Rosario Dawson is soooo pretty.

I saw it and really dug it, but like roisin, I had low expectations. I expected it to be reeeeally self-referential, much like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was, but to my surprise, it wasn't really at all. Tone-wise, it's a lot like the first Clerks, but thankfully it's not just a re-hash of it. In fact, I think I might like Clerks II better -- it's not quite as depressing as Clerks was, and there was a lot more humor and character development. I also found Rosario and even Kevin's wife's characters to be much more tolerable than Veronica and Caitlin were in the first movie.
All in all, it's a very cute, sweet, funny movie with a donkey show. What more can one ask for?

I never saw the first one, so I have no point of reference, I thought the movie was decent.
Rosario is pretty, but her uneven nostrils were distracting me the whole time.

For those who have seen both Clerks movies, would the second make more sense after I see the first one?

A little bit, yeah. The very beginning and the very end would make more sense visually for one thing.

I loved "Clerks," so I went into this terrified, feeling sure KS would destroy my love with a crapfest. I was pleasantly surprised. It was funny, had much the same tone as the first one, and was even -- dare I say it? -- touching. I got a bit sniffly, even. I liked it, a lot. Even the cameos were great, and I expected them to be heavy-handed and over the top.
Well done, Mr. Smith.
I love that after the credits, KS lists all of his (and "Clerks II"'s) MySpace friends. I think that's cute.
[superficial]I'm not a huge fan of Rosario Dawson, but I liked her in this, and dear Lord! She has the most gorgeous skin I've ever seen![/superficial]

I know, The Boy excitedly asked me, "Are you his friend?" Alas, I am not, but the MySpace list goes on forever, it's insane.

Makes me regret only having my first name as my myspace name. But I'll probably wait until it's on DVD and rent it so I can search the credits better.
