I don't think they did. He definitely missed his flight and they probably spent the night walking the streets of Paris, talking about everything. But I think he caught the next flight in the morning and returned to his life, filled with regret.

Wow, so I can be naive and idealistic, too! I always thought they ended up together in the end. As in for good, not just for one night.

Me too, Margo! I think they learned their lesson from leaving the first time.

They're making a sequel. Not much details, but everyone's back on board. As these 2 movies are two of the most romantic movies ever made, I might be more excited for this sequel news than anything in a long, long time.

Then I suppose they didn't end up together after the last one. I can't imagine a sequel based around domestic bliss. They can continue doing sequels for as long as Ethan and Julie are still interested and end up with a provocative film series about lessons learned from "the one that got away."

So excited for the sequel. So, what would they name it? Before Tomorrow? Before Brunch? Before That Other Time That's Not Sunrise Or Sunset? I don't care. I'll be waiting!

"After Sunrise"? I hope they don't manufacture a reason to keep the characters apart. A movie about what happens in a relationship can be romantic too! In this case, I think it would be very interesting to see what happens between two people who think they are in love but have only spent 1 1/2 nights together and don't actually know what it's like to be with the other person on a daily basis.

I'll definitely want to see this as well. I loved the first one (when I was 25 and such a desperate romantic), really enjoyed the second one (34, bearing the scarred heart of a desperate romantic). As much as I dislike Ethan Hawke's off-camera persona, I would watch him and Julie Delpy in these films until all three of us are in our 80's.

It's great they're making a third. If it comes anywhere even close to the other two that would be awesome. The first was terrific but Before Sunset is like some tiny miracle of a film.If it's as smart and honest as the others it should go down as one of the best trilogies ever, and all with just two people talking.
