Her fiance has the smile of Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

I'm not someone who shits on female friendships, but I wonder what all these men in Michelle's life think when she's like "and of course Busy will be coming with us."

I wish she would ditch that hair color.

Michelle has the Ancient Greece style tonight with a tinge of 70s. Unfortunately, as with all her dresses it looks like she had a sewing party with Blake Lively and used a Halloween Butterick pattern for Aphrodite and picked thick polyester fabric circa 1974.
Also, I agree with you Prisma, that hair color does her absolutely no favors.

I’m very, very cynical but I believe 100% that her speech was a calculated distraction from her current marriage/divorce/engagement/pregnancy situation.

I wish she would ditch that hair color. Same here. It's just way too blond and harsh on her.

I’m very, very cynical but I believe 100% that her speech was a calculated distraction from her current marriage/divorce/engagement/pregnancy situation. I think it would have played better if Ricky Gervais hadn't just roasted woke Hollywood culture and political posturing in acceptance speeches. I was only half listening when Michelle accepted her award and haven't seen a transcript yet, but it sounded like she acknowledged having an abortion earlier in her life, which is still a brave thing for her to do.

Except for that blue piece of material at her shoulder, I really like this dress. I think it's very flattering and I like the asymmetry of the neckline.
Totally agree on her hair, though. Way too harsh.

I also noticed that her speech was well-written and well-rehearsed, right down to her supporting actress Busy, who shed just the right amount of tears and looked exactly the appropriate amount of proud of her bff. It made me wonder why more of these people don't step up their game and write and memorize their acceptance speeches. I guess she was sober due to the pregnancy, so it was probably easier to remember her lines.
