If we're going with Oprah World, Sarah is the white Iyanla Vanzant. Broke, senseless, self-defeating, doesn't listen to her own words, addicted to attention. I was kind of enjoying the show just because I truly feel like she could benefit from some serious therapy and that's not something that I imagine royals (or Europeans in general) generally go for. But the fact that the book that came out long after this was taped has loads of the same crap she's spouting before her revelation tells me she didn't learn squat from this. It's too depressing to think about.
ETA: I'm probably the only person to still be watching her show on OWN but one of the most self-defeating things she seems to do constantly is complain, complain, complain out loud and say one thing and do the exact opposite (they show this numerous times on the show). She is absolutely maddening.

It should say "temporarily out of debt" because I have no doubt she'll be right back there in no time. I saw a re-run of a Graham Norton Show from 2009 that she was a guest on and she was talking about how great things were, how the movie "Young Victoria" was based on an idea of hers (really?) and she was one of the producers on the film, and she kept going on about how she had married the "handsomest" of the British royals (not too much of a stretch, really) and I think she even mentioned her wedding. It was awful to watch considering what's happened since then. The kindest thing Andrew could do for her is cut her loose and let her sink or swim on her own. He's already lost his ambassador for British business title (or whatever that was). They both need to figure out how to live without creating more toxicity in each others' lives.

Thanks, Andrew. That's exactly what I want my taxes being spent on.

I had to give up on her show after her visit to the American Indian healer guy (or whateverthehell was going on there). What stupid, useless shit. Nothing is going to make her admit that she did something WRONG. It's all about the victim that is poor lost Sarah. And on a shallow note.. she looks like shit without makeup. And I kinda can't stand the way she says her own name. And she says it - constantly.

I SO can't wait for Charles to become king. Not that I want the queen to die but so Andrew and his leeches can get their asses kicked.
BTW. That Vanity Fair article made me feel sorry for Bea and Eug. They seem like good people who got stuck with bad parents.

Beatrice and Eugenie have turned out quite well based on how insane their parents are. I know Bea's long term boyfriend has a decent job at Virgin Corp and I could see them marring in a year or two and her being okay with settling into a quiet life as Princess Beatrice, Mrs Clark.
