I think she looks good. I'm glad she got a new haircut, too- I hated those super-short bangs on her.

Not a fan of the blonde hair but I can understand why she might have lost the weight. Even though she was carving out a nice niche for herself in Hollywood, she was definitely pigeonholed into certain types of parts. Losing some weight (she looks healthy and "curvy" not emaciated or anything) might get her better roles in different types of movies/television shows.

I don't think there's anything wrong with her weight loss. She doesn't look like an emaciated bobblehead, she looks like a healthy normal girl. As long as she didn't abuse herself to drop the pounds, what's wrong with it? I say good for her. She was fine before and she's still fine. Now if she continues losing weight, then I'll say she has a problem.
ETA: She does look way better with red hair though. Why must every actress in Hollywood go blonde.

Yeah, I think she looks fine both ways, too. I mean, the pictures are shocking because it is such a sudden and drastic difference, but she never seemed very heavy to me, nor does she seem too thin now. I agree on the blonde thing, though. Enough's enough.

I agree that she looks like she is at a healthy weight - she doesn't look like a lollipop. Yet. If she keeps going in that direction, then I'll be pissed.
I also agree that in all honesty, if she didn't lose weight, she'd probably be stuck with "funny best friend" roles for the rest of her career. Sad that she had to lose weight to play the game, but I think that is more a reflection on Hollywood's homogenized idea of "beautiful" than on Sara - she looked great before, and she looks fine now (don't like the hair) but casting directors probably couldn't see past her dress size.
I really think the hair is a mistake. Combined with the weight loss, she's erasing everything unique about herself. It seems to me that if you are really going to make it big, you do need to bring something unique to the table. She seems to be in danger of turning into one of the many blonde clones that populate that town.

I have no idea who she is but I think she looks great in the after photos and that she was significantly overweight in the befores. I know lots of people who've lost that a lot of weight by simply eating well, exercising or just getting older so I think it's a shame that people assume she had to starve herself or abuse drugs to look basically normal. Girl has $$ and access to personal trainers and chefs and lots of free time, if I had that I'd be in great shape too.

I don't know, I guess I'm of the opinion that being continually cast as the funny best friend is better than not being cast at all. And if she brings nothing new to the table by looking just like every other starlet in Hollywood, she's going to have a hard time getting parts.
Probably a lot of this could be fixed by dying her hair back to red or any other color but blonde.
After getting over the shock, I do think her body looks great, and she looks extremely happy with the change, and it's definitely possible she did it the healthy way (While I'm pretty sure I wasn't her size to begin with, I probably wasn't too far off and I've lost 30 lbs through dieting on Weight Watchers alone -- I haven't even really exercised). But I think she loses her sparkle with the blonde hair.

I think she looks nice, but I also found her pretty beforehand (shame on the people who look down on her for looking not good before and that it isn't 'normal' to be chubby).
It's a bummer to see yet another actress do the weight loss thing. I'm not the thinnest of girls, but I'm not overweight either. It was nice to see women with curves and all that.
I don't like her new hair. She looked great with red hair and I think it was a mistake to lose it. As everyone else said...she is now nothing special.

Why, why, why, why, WHY must Hollywood redheads go blonde??!! A small percent of the world's population are natural redheads, so we are unique! Why ruin it with some peroxide?! GRR! Nicole Kidman, Lindsey Lohan, Laura Prepon... all lost to the Blonde Bobblehead disease! At least we still have Julianne Moore. I feel like Hollywood has declared war on natural redheads, gosh! She looks average sized to me, not that she was all that big before, but at least she's not in bobblehead territory. Yet. *sigh*

I honestly don't think she was that overweight before. Ok, she wasn't Hollywood thin but she wasn't grossly fat either.
I actually think she was more attractive before. I've seen this happen with women...they lose weight, yes, but they lose something about their face that made them attractive in the first place. Now, she's thinner, yes, but she's average looking.
