Dear Hollywood Angelica Huston, Geena Davis, Katheryn Erbe, Melissa Leo, Michael Hyatt are examples of women I would like to see on screen more. Enough with the family unit that includes dad and kids only, cause mom died. I want king lear adapted as a modern story with Angelica Huston as lear. I want Michael Hyatt in a modern version of Dangerous Liaisons. I would also like to add there are plenty of talented actresses over 40. I'm pretty sick and tired of seeing 20something year olds who supposedly have become high powered CEOs or firm partners etc etc.

Kind of OT, but I didn't realize until this year that Kathryn Erbe had played the daughter in What About Bob? Doh! More on topic, yeah, why don't we see more of Geena Davis? Is she just focusing on raising her children?

She also posts a lot on women in the media and is pretty damn smart. I think I have girl-crushes on her and Amy Poehler.

Dear cable networks, 1) I realize that you may be trying to jump on the binge-watching bandwagon, but you are massively over-exposing some of your more successful shows. AMC, I am looking at you. Having a Walking Dead marathon every other month sort of takes away the novelty and gives viewers zombie fatigue. Breaking Bad was incredible, but you are showing signs of doing the same with it.
2) Showing explicit sex and violence for shock value eventually negates the shock value. At this point, FX, you would shock me more if you produced a quality drama that did not feature oral sex or the removal of appendages in each episode. Many of your shows might actually improve if you left a little to the imagination.

I was watching an older movie and this gentleman popped up on the screen. We need to see more of him, please. He was only on the screen for a second or two the first time but it made me look him up. It looks like he's pretty versatile too, so perhaps you could find more work for him?

Dear Hollywood:
If you want me to like a character, kindly make them likeable from their first appearance. Do not introduce them as nasty, unpleasant, treacherous, rude, etc. then expect me to like them many episodes later when their entire personality changes/tragic backstory is revealed. It doesn't work.
Remember the old adage: You only have one chance to make a first impression.
examples: The 6th and 12th doctors, Amelia on Supernatural, Jonas Quinn on Stargate, Cassandra on The Librarians, and Kitty on Elementary.

Dear Hollywood, Please stop trying to make Joe Jonas happen as an actor. That is all.
