Wouldn't it be very Kafkaesque for them to be one and the same? DUN DUN DUN!
...when the link to the Parade poll you posted in the Tom Cruise thread has inspired a poll here and you are beside yourself with joy.

. . . when someone makes a reference to Kafka and your mind immediately goes to our very own Kafka. Really? You did? Heeeeeeeeeee. That actually made me squeal out loud. You Know You're Addicted to CPMCoG When... you spend 20 minutes on the phone with one of your best friends --- at 10 to midnight, no less --- trying to persuade her (yet again) to sign up for the board because you want to snark together. And you're rattling off things about the board from the ShoeHags and all the great beauty tips, to KAK's crazy stomach, to cooking thread, exercise tips, and more. And you know the board is really addicting when she absolutely REFUSES to join because the *one* time she did look at it, she lost track of time for 2 hours and almost missed a deadline. She's scared of what would happen if she actually read this place regularly. ;D

Even worse...you get on the board and you're the only one there. 0 members...not even any guests.
Come back, guys! I need you!

Ah, but Topher, if you were a true addict, you'd be keeping track of the "most people online" records, and what was going on in pop culture to make hundreds of people flock to CPMCoG!
You wouldn't happen to have that laying around anywhere, would you? Not that I'd be interested...

Well yesterday it was SPF cracking his skull, the remnants of Moses and the upcoming virginal pillow birth.

....tornados hit Tennessee and you head to the computer to make sure your internet TN friends Limey and Thingamagig are OK (well, not during the tornados, but pretty soon afterwards).

When you get upset that members change their avatars (because you have come to think of them as that individual/cartoon character/picture).
This completely throws me off balance, so much so that I can barely read their post. I am tempted to email the offending members and express my disappointment!
So, Ripley, please do not change your avatar. I think of you as Smart Lisa.

*makes mental note avoid the wrath of splendagirl by reinstating Emily the Strange avatar, once the novelty of the Bride of Frankencruise wears off*
