Why is this indicative of addiction? Because two months ago, before I had ventured into the Britney thread, I had no interest in her or her personal life. Damn you, CPMCoG, damn you!! But, really, you know, thank you CPMCoG, for without you my life is without snark.

(sidenote: "chalk and cheese?" Brit idioms are crazy, y'all. Somehow it's used to mean opposites, but they're just two extremely incongruous things)
