Oncology can probably be a depressing field, but I imagine that Eddie's doctor had a very hard time keeping a straight face when he told Eddie that yes, it's possible his cancer was caused by guitar picks and electromagnetic recording studio energy, and not 5 decades of smoking. That reminded me of The Simpsons episode where Homer got both arms caught in vending machines, and as the rescuer prepped to amputate, Homer earnestly asked if they'd grow back. And the guy just paused, and said, "Oh. Yeah." I picture Eddie's doctor doing the same. |

I failed the test, but differently--I want him to get hooked on his pain meds (again) on his way out.

(Actually, after I laughed I stopped a moment to acknowledge my horrible-ness and then reconsidered and laughed again. So, totally going to hell. Both of us! Boy, I’m awful.)
