I’m still alarmed that there’s no resolution in the Kim Jung Un story line.
Two Motion Pictures of India deaths: Irrfan Khan, who is probably best known from Slumdog Millionaire, died yesterday. Rishi Kapoor, who wasn’t really known outside Bollywood, but was the 3rd generation of an ongoing dynasty died yesterday. He was peer to Amitabh Bachchan.

I know--Rishi was never one of my favorites, but it still makes me sad. Here's a ghazal-esque number from Bobby, where he effectively acts morose and heartbroken. And Dimple looks gorgeous, like she does.

Thanks for that, Chonies! I'm taking a break at work and am enjoying the video.

I remember the same “is he or isn’t he sick/dead” with Kim Jung Un’s father, Kim Jung-Il in the late 2000’s. Rumored illness and death, showing up for at random public appearances, not showing up at mandatory ones, rumors of look a-likes, talk of successors.

I remember, too, and so while I'm somewhat intrigued, I feel like I've already seen this movie. I've recently read that he's sent letters to Cuba and Zimbabwe, and praised PRK's propaganda officers. Additionally, there are murmurs that this is a Western-created distraction from the seriousness of COVID-19. I can believe all are true.

I am on my phone, and unable to link, but while waiting to "homeschool" my older youngling I read an NYT article featuring Val Killer, and I hate to say this, but he seems extremely ill. His voice is now drastically impacted by the various treatments he received, and while he is incredibly determined he just appears so very frail.

Val looks rough. If the picture hadn't been labeled I would not have realized it was him. Throat cancer is hard because it takes away your ability to communicate quickly. My grandfather had it and talked with a vibrating microphone for the last 5 years of his life. He said it was frustrating and tiring.
