I saw this and found it very suspicious. Why is it that I am being alerted to Screech's general health and wellness by TMZ? He had some pain, got some tests. People do this all the time. Chadwick Boseman kept his colon cancer secret from beginning to end and I know the status of Screech's pending biopsy? This reeks. I think it's just a setup for a media tour. He'll go on Howard Stern and talk about his big "health scare". |

Maybe he really is as bad off as he seems to be. His Saved By the Bell co-star wanted nothing to do with him. Maybe it's a little naive but maybe making his health issues public is the only way to reach out to them and make peace. Mario Lopez had a visit with him and Tiffani Amber Theissan posted a message of support. You're probably right though, Ginger. |

Bumping this since it's been over two weeks since the last post. Billiards Legend Jeanette Lee Reveals She Has Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer: I'll 'Never Give Up'She is a professional pool player better known by her nickname "The Black Widow". Her diagnosis is terminal. A GoFundMe has been set up to help care for her three daughters after she is gone.  ETA: I'm a little (but pleasantly) surprised that Bob Dole has been able to hang on for this long. On a small side note - I'm also a little surprised that Bob Dole released a statement in which he referred to himself in the first person.  ETA 2: I had forgotten that he had battled cancer before. He had been previously been treated for prostate cancer. A side effect is erectile dysfunction. Bob Dole made an unlikely appearance in a commercial about ED. |

Stage 4 lung cancer at 97 and he's starting treatment? My relative went to hospice with his diagnosis at 72.
I think that those in the public eye know about their cancers but wait and release the diagnosis when there's not much time or hope left.
