I'm pissed a decent and truly Christian man is not going to outlive Henry the Horrible. I suspect a blood pact with Satan, but it's possible that the Prince of Darkness thought Kissinger is too much of a dick. My sincerest thoughts to Jimmy Carter and those who love and appreciate his life.

Jimmy Carter dedicated his long life to public service. He had a loving family, married for 76 years (!), and was active well into his 90s. Now he's home with his loved ones facing the final stages of his life with dignity. He is a man of faith who knows what's waiting for him on the other side. I know people are sad, but I look at this as the best possible death a person can have. I hope he's not in pain and the transition is as peaceful as possible.
My dad said Carter was too honest to be president. He was above politics and just wanted to get the job done. He was certainly what the country needed after Watergate, even though he was only a one-termer. What an example he is to all of us. A life well lived.
