During the 2004 campaign I couldn't wait to watch CNN to watch John Edwards. I was like a teenager when he came on TV.

I have another celebrity crush who is not universally loved in here so get the stones ready to throw at me.

As a matter of fact I won't say his name, I'll just say he's sleeping with Demi Moore.

I am not embarrassed by my off-the-wall crush. A little confused, maybe. I was watching "Iron Chef America" the other night and came to the conclusion that I would totally do Mario Batali. I think he's sexy and I really like his speaking voice. He might squish me, though...

I have an unexplainable crush on Jack Black. I know he's portly, annoying, manic, and was in that horrible movie Shallow Hal, but I'm strangely attracted to him. I'm a goner when he starts playing guitar in his ill-fitting prep school uniform in School of Rock.

Christopher Walken. He's so old (for me) and so not someone you should ever think of lusting after but I do. Maybe just to have him whisper in my ear all night, if nothing else. It's wrong, and I want to be right!

I have a few that have already been mentioned: Vince Vaughn in Clay Pigeons, Bruce Willis in Color of Night (the sex scene in the pool, drooool), Jim Carrey in any of his serious roles (especially Eternal Sunshine and Man in the Moon), and John Astin (yay, Vacationland!).

Here are my "practically old enough to be their mother" crushes: Taylor Ball from Still Standing (he's such a cute nerd. Plus, he looks like a young Sean Astin - I'll get to that later), and Drake Bell from Drake & Josh (I love how he's cute but still not afraid to do physical humor).

Here are my "silver fox" entries: well, besides Walken, Bruce, and Gomez, there's Ben Stein. Yes, that Ben Stein. I loved him in Win Ben Stein's Money - the way Jimmie would always pick on him and he would try to keep up, but end up all frustrated and disgusted. I don't know, I found that cute. I jsut want to hug him.

Of course, there's my embarrassing crush on Craig Kilborn. I used to love him on The Daily Show. For some reason, his arrogance (and pretty, pretty hair) did something for me.

I also love Henry Thomas. I remember crushing on him the first time I saw E.T., and then being totally smitten w/ him in everything he's done since. I think the clincher was The Good Baby. Seeing a grown man take care of a baby b/c he wants to just melts my heart.

I know he's not popluar here, but I love Matt Damon. Yes, ol' Porcine himself. I think it's the Bostonian accent.

Deidrich Bader - yes, Oswald Lee Harvey himself. He's just such a goon. Plus, I loved Lawrence in Office Space. What a cutie.

My embarrassing teenage crushes were Sean Astin (how could you not love Mikey?) and Scott Grimes, which I think might have originated from watching Critters about 500 times. Strangely enough, I married a man w/ red hair who's name is the same (except for a few letters) as Sean Astin. I didn't even realize that until about 4 years after we were married. What would Freud say...
