Jon Stewart? The fact that he's about 20 years older than me makes it a little odd.

Terry O'Quinn, people! I don't think that is that bad but all my friends make fun of me and I can't help it. His Locke is so cool.
Oh, and crushing on Jeremy Irons is not wrong. I'm mean c'amon! Yes, he's older than my dad but still, that voice... And that thing is this year Oscars cemented my love for him. He's great.

Jon Stewart? The fact that he's about 20 years older than me makes it a little odd. Oh, Jon Stewart. I've had a crush on him ever since he was the host of the fabulous "Jon Stewart Show." I'm not sure how old he is, but I'm 25 now, so the age difference can't be that much. Smart + funny + non-annoyingly self depracating = my kind of guy. I love him, and watching him on the "Daily Show" helped me through the post 9/11 days. Having said all this, I can't for the life of me think of why it's embarassing to crush on him -- if you ever checked the FT thread about him, you would know that half the female population over there would fight you for him. I'm also unsure as to why it's embarassing to have a crush on Jeremy Irons -- the man is hot (although he did look a little, um, worse for the wear at the Oscars), and he always seems so gracious and gentlemanly.

Since some of you have come out with it, I'd like to add Jeremy Irons and Billy Bob Thornton to my ECCs as well. And also, uhhh, Michael Keaton and Warren Beatty.

Wow, there is a lot of Jeremy Irons love! Vacationland, completely and absolutely jealous of your encounter. It's good to hear that he's a nice guy.
Well, since a Jeremy Irons crush is nothing to be embarassed about, I'll trade him for Michael Cera. Smeepy, four years is nothing ... try being twice his age! He is a cutie, especially in the Sonny Bono and pirate garb he was in during this evening's episode.

Daniel Radcliffe. Which isn't too terribly embarassing, until you realize that I'm a 32-year-old mother of two. Seriously, though. Boys didn't look like that when I was fifteen. Yes, I am going to hell. My boyfriend calls me a dirty dirty girl when I mention my crush on Harry...um I mean Daniel Radcliffe. I too am 32. Ah, to finally share the shame, the relief! I can't wait until the next movie comes out because he'll look slightly older and I won't feel like such a pervert. Oh, I also have a thing for Norman Reedus - Helena Christensens ex husband. I don't know whyyyyyy!!

Oh my God, Boondock Saints. Everyone in that movie is bloody/dirty/crazy = doable.
Embarrassing crush? Alan Rickman. Okay, maybe not so much "embarrassing" as "totally age inappropriate," as I am 23 and he is *checks imdb* 59. But the voice. And Colonel Brandon. And the voice.
Speaking of voices--Vin Diesel. I know. I KNOW. But it's so hot.
And Gabriel Byrne. Don't know why, but it's weird, right?

Ok I just check imdb and Jon Stewart is gonna be 43 this year. I didn't mean it was embarrassing in a urg-you-like-that-guy kinda way, just that he is 20 years older than me so basically he could be my dad, which makes it a little odd but it's still not like I had a crush on Jay Leno or something.

And Gabriel Byrne. Don't know why, but it's weird, right? Nope, not weird. I'm right there with ya. He's got gorgeous eyes, and that voice... Same goes for Jeremy Irons. The two of them, plus Gerard Depardieu, made The Man in the Iron Mask far too enjoyable for me. Great actors, crappy movie...why must you mock my love, movie? I don't count 'em among my embarrassing crushes, myself...except perhaps for the age-inappropriate thing, which also goes for my Christopher Lee mention a page or two ago. I'll throw in Tommy Lee Jones, too. A truly embarrassing crush for me? Back when Once Bitten was the biggest thing he'd done, I thought Jim Carrey was sort of cute. Mercifully, that was short-lived.
