The couple got married over the weekend in a simple, intimate ceremony at a friend's home in New York state, a source close to Mulaney tells PEOPLE. Only their son and a witness were in attendance.

I saw that Sam Waterston officiated the wedding. I know he and Olivia were in Newsroom together but all I can think of is the Law & Order bit that John did in his act years ago and here he is getting married by the one and only Jack McCoy. If you haven’t seen it, search John Mulaney and Law & Order. It’s hysterical and so true!! I wonder if John said anything to Sam - Hee!
