I'm starting to think that Australia is catching up to the US in terms of having the most dumb, misguided, and criminal professional athletes. How is that possible, with such a small population (in comparison to the US)?  |

How is that possible, with such a small population (in comparison to the US)? Because, just like you guys, we worship at the altar of brawn over brains, brutality over betterment. And, what's worse, we also delude ourselves into thinking that our athletes are somehow more gracious and 'sportsmanslike' than those of other nations.  Ian Thorpe is a clear exception to this though! |
