Here's the MLS listing for Simpson's home. Any big pocketed Greecies out there who want to buy it? Imagine what an awesome coke-fueled reunion we could have in the place. I'm really confused by the idea of the tunnel from the hot tub to the pool...how did it work? I can't imagine how you'd be able to pull that off without drowning? Also...how did you swim out of the hot tub w/o draining the water in the process? I don't know, but I've just spent way too much time trying to work it out.

I too roll my eyes when I see homes of silly 19-year-old pop stars/actors on low-rated WB shows/etc. who have had minimal success and are already showing off their huge closets full of trendy designer clothes and their fancy cars. Most likely, the bank will be taking those things soon enough. It may be the green eyed monster talking, but whenever I see celebrity homes, I get mad. I think that it's mostly a waste of money, and a waste of money by talentless people. Maybe I just get irritated that they have so much while more deserving people have so little. And really, do you need that much space for you, your girlfriend of the week, and your group of 25 "close" friends? I don't think so. But I did like Shaq's house on Cribs. But that's only because he has no taste (like me!) and decorated it with a Superman theme (like I would!).<-----dork

When I look at the enormous outrageous homes two thoughts go through my head. 1) Nice way to announce to the world how nouveau you are. 2) It's nice that you're spreading your wealth around and not keeping it in your bank account. Just make sure you pay all your taxes because you're going to need welfare soon.
Seriously, money moves, and people are employed by their outrageous spending, so I really don't mind it. It's kind of like an idiot tax, but only for the rich. Sounds progressive to me.

A few years ago on Cribs they had Jamie Lee Pressly. This was way before "My Name is Earl". I was shocked at her house, being that she was C list and it was beautiful and right on the water.

I remember that episode of Cribs, I was also shocked by how nice her house was. At that time I only knew her from Not Another Teen Movie and I could hardly believe that she had such a great house in such a nice palace. Although I was also impressed that it wasn't super-tacky and ostentatious like most of the places on Cribs.

And I've found another reason to dislike Brangelina: their New Orleans house is fabulous!
