You have to keep pressing B B B B B B B to keep him up there. If memory serves.
I'd buy a Nintendo, too. I do download the emulators though, and play the games on my computer. It's been a while, but in college I played all the Super Marios, the original Legend of Zelda, and the first Final Fantasies. Yay, retro!
ETA: I want Bioshock! Want! Want!

Older game, but I finally finished Bully. I loved the game but whatever the last battle and the ending. There should have been more. Pfft.
Anyway, I can tell you the exact moment that pushed my "really, really like" into "love" - I was trying to rush back Jimmy, the main character, to one of his beds because it was nearing 2 AM and that's when he just passes out wherever the hell he is. He didn't make it and passed out in the streets of New Coventry. When he woke up, I was told that he got mugged. OK. I made him buy a soda and saw that he still had all of his money, so what in the hell was he robbed of? After a few minutes, I saw it: socks. Jimmy just had socks on.
They mugged him of his shoes, damn them!

Anyone else play Scene It! on 360? It's my favorite game ever, and since we have had it, we have had people over almost every single night. It's even better for parties than the Wii.

My ex and I used to play Scene It (if memory serves)....but it was through our on demand digital cable, so it was basically just an ad. Probably would have been cooler if we had sprung for the actual game!
One of my old favorites was You Don't Know Jack, especially the fake commercials that played after the game ended. Good times...

I just got World of Warcraft for a (really, really late) Birthday gift, along with the first expansion, and I have to say, I really like it! I thought that I would be either way too into it, or it wouldn't live up to all the hype I've been getting from my friends that play. However, my problem is the same one I have with The Sims.....I can't stop making new characters!! I have one main, but like 10 extras! I don't have a guild or anything else yet, I'm liking just running around by myself right now.

So I got that Mama's Cooking whatever for the Wii, and it is so sad how much I prefer it to actual cooking. I am fantastic at popcorn, spaghetti with squi ink, and pierogies, but for some reason, failed at "hot dog". There is something so satisfying about chopping carrots and green peppers with a hand held controller. However, it's freaking impossible to peel vegetables with the Wii controller, and Mama makes me mad when she yells at me in her "japanese woman mimicking an italian woman" voice. Damn Mama.
Oh, and Bully just came out for 360 and the Wii. Have ya'll played both? I am thinking it will be more fun with the Wii, what with the fighting and ridiculous body movements I will have to make and all.

What is this SecuRom and how can I get rid of it? I ran into a discussion about the PC version of Mass Effect and how it includes malware-like SecuRom, which apparently has damaged DVD drives and prevented programs from running in the past. Reading the thread, I realised that one of my PC games may have installed this SecuRom on my computer with me having no idea of it. Does anyone know a reliable way to get rid of it? I'm not good with computers, and the thread makes SecuRom sound like a real pain to remove.
And I doubt Mass Effect will escape being pirated within days. Things like 3 installation keys will only make things harder for the customer who bought it legally and might have to spend who knows how much money on calling EA so that they'd maybe, possibly receive more activation keys. What if my computer crashed and I had to reinstall? What if I uninstalled ME to make room for new games and then thought it might be nice to give it a try again? What if I bought a new computer? The game could become useless pretty fast. I'd never buy a game that limited my ability to continue playing it in that manner.

You can go to More Awesome than You and they have a stickied thread on how to remove it. It's pretty involved though, requiring you to mess with parts of the computer that I don't mess with. Which is why I still have it on my computer ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) I believe it's under the section the Podium.

I'm hooked on Lord of the Rings Online, aka LOTRO. Online RPGs have been my chosen addiction since UO came out, and this one is really good. I even managed to get a character to 50, the level cap, which is the first time EVER I've gotten a character to the highest level possible. Of course the cap is raised this fall when they come out with an expansion, but still...

I understand the pride you feel, mimmilina. TTMR & I play City of Heroes, and after 3 years of play, I finally managed to get a character to level 50 last month.
