Bonnie Hunt. I love her. She's so witty and funny. I think she definitely deserves more fame. Me too.

Jay Harrington, late of Better Off Ted. He's devastatingly handsome, can wear a suit like nobody's business, is a good actor, and has fantastic comic timing. He'd have made a fabulous Jim Rockford in that remake of The Rockford Files I keep hearing about.

I agree with the comments on Bonnie Hunt (I used to watch her talk show and, while it wasn't the best, I miss watching her every day) and Jay Harrington (he could be Clooney's younger brother). Bonnie will definitely keep working because she's also a writer and is in several of the Pixar movies.

Carlos Bernard (Tony from 24). Seriously, who doesn't LOVE him? He seems to do random episodes of various shows, when I just *know* he could carry an action-packed show on his own. Where's my 24 spin-off, dammit?! I also believe he could do comedy, just from watching him roll his eyes every time Jack Bauer said "I give you my word" in his presence.
Also, I think it's about time for Wil Wheaton to have a big comeback. Totally enjoyed him on The Big Bang Theory and The Guild, his books and blog are super-entertaining, and I just think he seems like a nice, down-to-earth person who I'd like to see on my television every week.

Carlos Bernard totally deserves his own show where he can whisper stupid/sexy things all the time.

OMG, yes, Tony!! It's funny how Jack Bauer could get shot, captured, technically killed, et cetera, and I could deal with that. But when bad stuff happened to Tony, it was like NOOOOOO.
Yeah, definitely adding my vote for Mr. Bernard.

I love Laura Linney and think she deserves at least a Cate Blanchett level of fame. They're my favourite actresses -- both so classy, elegant, and of course brilliant actresses both. If they ever were in a movie or in a play together, I'd think I'd pass out from sheer delight.

Another one like that is Emily Watson: she should have Blanchett level fame but despite her success, acclaim, and Oscar nod for Breaking the Waves it didn't make her red-hot in Hollywood the way Elizabeth did for Blanchett. She's bafflingly almost forgotten now, despite one of the most dazzling of screen debuts.
The Pianist didn't launch Adrien Brody into the stratosphere either, or come anywhere close - and he, unlike Watson, even won his category when he was Oscar-nominated. He hasn't had a great part since.

He hasn't had a great part since. I know, he's been reduced to doing uninteresting parts in sci-fi movies. The Predator sequel? Really? It's just a shame because his resume pre-Oscar is so much better than it is post-Oscar. And when Ben Affleck (whom I also love but I admit he's not the best actor around) outacts you? You really need help.
