I just finished watching the third act of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, and yeah, Nathan Fillion deserves to be so much more recognized than he is. Someone upthread mentioned that he could be the next Harrison Ford, and I concur. I think he needs just one really great role (in a film, not a series) for him to break through.

I'm watching the Firefly dvds again and Fillion's right at the edge, I'm sure of it. He's too awesome not to be.

Oh my God, so much word. Nathan Fillion is like Han Solo for a new generation. This guy should be a massive movie star and I can't understand why he's not (especially since he also happens to be quite a good actor). Maybe he needs a new agent or something--with a little PR push in the right direction and a few choice roles, he could totally be a big-deal heartthrob.

I just watched Reservation Road. Mark Ruffalo, why aren't you more famous?

I ran into Mark Ruffalo at a basement jazz bar in Paris.
He is smoking hot and really intense in person.

The X-Files movie reminded me that I'm bummed out Nicholas "Ratboy" Lea isn't more famous. He was hot as hell and legitimately a good actor as Kryceck. I don't know that I would expect him to become the next Harrison Ford or whatever, but he at least deserves a David Boreanaz-level career IMHO.

It's not that bad, honestly ) and I like him too.

I loved Nic Lea until he turned up all doughy and skeevy on CSI as Catherine's cheating club-owner boyfriend. No denying, though, that Krycek goes down in history as one of the most wicked hot TV characters of all time. Any scene with Lea and Duchovny together was just a total metdown. Whew.

This is probably a moot point after The Dark Knight, but why doesn't Aaron Eckhart have Brad Pitt/ George Clooney-level fame? He's hot and I'm not even that much into blond men, he's a very talented actor, um...he's hot.... I loved him in Thank You For Smoking, but it was kind of a smaller indie film and that was only three years ago. Before that he was a Hey It's That Guy! on my radar.
It seems like fame really is about how many issues of People you can sell with your personal drama, and that saddens me.

satellite, I agree with you completely. I've liked him for a few years now, noticing him even in the smallest of roles. I hope he gets to move up a notch and get more roles like he did in DK and TYFS rather than No Reservations (shudder).
